I am very pleased with the black box cages. They are top quality cages and delivered withing their estimated lead time. Black Box has all the cage size selections to fit the exact space you need. My carpet pythons are much happier and healthier now they have real cages to climb and to move inside. I will definitely buy from Black Box for reptile cages and heat panels.

This is a very nice cage for my young suriname boa constrictor. The ventilation slots allow sufficient air flow and the sliding door option is an unobstructed view. The cage arrived within lead time and was the perfect size for what I have space for. Black Box will be the first place I look for when shopping for new reptile cages.

Sturdy and well crafted, lots of room for soil depth makes them ideal for bioactive setups. It's on the expensive end of vivs, but is simply high quality if you can afford the extra. Comes pre-built, nicely stackable, good customizing options, and communication through the process was good. Truly nothing bad to say, if you can afford it I'm not sure you'll find better.

Great enclosure!! Very easy and fun to assemble, and I think my ball python is loving it so far. The RHP and UV light are working great. The only issue I've encountered has been some slight warping with the acrylic windows when I first placed the bedding inside, but that might have been because the heat and humidity levels were WAY too high at first, so I had to let things simmer down for a day before actually putting the snake in. It works great! I used gorilla glue to attach a plastic background and seal the edges. I cut and added a terrarium liner to the basking shelf, but it's not attached. It warms up really well. The doors seal up tight, so I'm not worried about my tiny hognose slipping out. The vents are smaller than they look, and they're hard to reach for a small hatchling anyway, so no worries there. I ordered a 4x2x2 with heat panel, shelf, large hide and needless to say that my Retic, Hagrid, LOVES IT. Although this is a temporary enclosure for him and will eventually be for my older BP, it works nicely for him at the moment. Great customer service, quality, and easy to follow instructions. Obviously it's hard to wait, but once the cages got here, it was fun and easy to get it set up! I got my 7 and 5 year old involved and it helped us all feel a lot more connected to our snake's home. Buying the set with holes perfectly matched to the heater and lights was the best thing I never realized I was doing. My only growing pains have come with the amazing insulation (humdity alarm, anyone?) and my very unskilled application of the gel seal stuff.

The enclosure is AMAZING! The predrilled holes were perfect, everything fit together with no issues at all. The design is sleek, and I love the etched logo on the front. I love the acrylic swing out doors. I added my own handles for easier opening. The online instructions were pretty good. The first part had pictures but the last half of the steps didn’t, so it took me a bit to make sure, but I assembled it with no issues at all. I had put in two larger plastic hides after I moved my ball up. The plastic hides just weren’t heavy enough to keep from getting thrown around. The Black Box pvc hides are very nice with a good weight and I love the emblem engraved in the front.

Provisions to mount an rhp or heat lamp with cord hide channels, Perfect height substrate lip, and pre drilled misting nozzle mounts and a channel to hide the hose. Love this rack. Very high quality. Little details like how the heat tape is wired into IEC connector sockets (kettle plug type sockets that usually are used to plug into desktop PC power supplies) to make it easy to plug in the power and having access ports on each level on the back to allow for easy probe installation. Very smart rack, even smarter rack designers.
