The experience I have had with blackbox has been what I hope other companies aspire to. I ordered two tanks and upon receiving them, one was the wrong size. These cages are absolutely wonderful. My escape artist can’t get out and they are light in weight for the size. They stack super easy and slide like a breeze when cleaning behind them needs done. Only complaint is that to get the thermostat probes in place, you need to unstack the cages, easy to do with extra hands, because the hole cut out is small. This cage is amazing. It looks great and was really simple to assemble. I’m using a RHP and coconut chip substrate and haven’t had to mist the substrate once. In fact, I had to get a small dehumidifier for the room because the cage was retaining humidity so we’ll. Our snake loves the shelf and will often sit up there at night. After researching brands we decided to go with BlackBox and could not be happier. The enclosures are well built, sturdy, and easy to assemble, they also look fantastic. My ball python is about 4ft long and he fits perfectly inside the hide with the 9x9x4 dimensions. I purchased this because I wanted a sturdy hide for my snake since I noticed the slim, cheaper black plastic one he had kept getting flipped over and pushed around. No issues with this hide and my snake loves it. The only edges of the hide that seemed a bit sharp to the touch were the ones that formed the very bottom end to the "door" - which are not ones that are really exposed to the snake anyways...

There are no instructions but the cage parts are labeled in a way to make it fairly easy to put together. I forgot to include metal stacking dowels with the original order and Blackbox was able to quickly and easily add them for me. It holds humidity decently well even with a full size screen cutout on top and vents on the sides and back.
