So, my overall impression of Green Salt is positive. It takes some getting used to. Right out of the package, I thought the taste was very good. However, it didn't translate to that "salty" taste I expected when used in meal preparation. But after using it for a couple of weeks, I'm figuring out how much I need for various dishes and still lower my sodium intake. Hubby had to go on a very reduced sodium diet and was really missing salt. All the food was so bland even though he put tons of herbs and spices on it. We are SO happy he found GreenSalt! Although we don't cook with it, he is able to use it on his food at the table and it gives him the flavor he was missing, making his meals much more pleasant. Green Salt is a new taste for me and as I use it I feel that I will like it better. Hands down I know that it's better for me, however I have used iodine and sea salt for years and changing will happen in time just as when I decided to become a vegan 14 years ago. My Dr. Told me to find salt alternative, like no- salt. But I'm a long time cook and baker.. so had to be good. Pleasantly surprised this is good, I use it on most everything, yes the green eggs are lil different to look at but taste very good, this salt has a great flavor . I like it. Just wish it came in coarse form so I can put in my salt grinder.

This is a good salt . Especially if you are on low sodium diet It really flavor’s scrambled eggs good on Chicken also. It does have a taste of some sort of spice ( like Italian seasoning maybe ) so use sparingly!! It’s a keeper I like it!!

It works well as an ingredient for cooking but not so much as a seasoning on the prepared food at the table. It is quite powdery, so if you are seasoning something in a warm/hot pan get close to the surface or much of the green salt will be going into your exhaust fan.

Let's be honest: nothing is ever going to actually take the place of salt, but Green Salt comes darn close and, importantly, doesn't have a weird aftertaste. I'm glad this product exists; makes me feel like I'm taking a real step in reducing my salt intake without sacrificing the enjoyment of food.

I like the taste of green salt and will definitely keep using it. The only issue I have is that it does not come out of a salt shaker and that makes it difficult to handle at a meal.
