Wow, I did not expect the taste I got from the Maple Bacon Proof. I saw a review where they suggested mixing with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. It was GREAT, but after about half the drink it became a little overwhelming. Next time I will back off the amount of Proof I use; I may have accidentally overdone it, but what a great drink.

The syrup gives me a nice break from my usual Black Manhattan - allowing me to make an easy, consistent and tasty Old Fashion.
(Tip - the proper ratio of Proof Syrup to Bourbon is 1 Tablespoon of syrup to 1/4th of a cup of Bourbon.)

It makes a really tasty cocktail but it doesn’t have any maple or bacon flavor at all. Just a standard old fashioned. I almost wonder if the bottle was mislabeled.

The Maple Bacon is delicious! The syrups are a little pricey, but I can't wait to try some of the other flavors when I can afford it! Overall, I definitely recommend for the best old fashioned!

I’ve put so many people on to this. I have been to MANY mid to high-end restaurants in Miami/ NY/ CO, and practically anywhere I go, and this by far is the BEST old fashion I’ve had. All my friends who drink Olds often agree. So much that at times we go to places with a flask of just the Proof Syrup Maple Bacon just in case they make the Old Fashions crappy lol. To Proof, you guys need to get a deal with Total Wine to have these available for quicker access, plzzzz🙏🏼🙌

I love old fashioneds. But I never wanted to make one myself - I'm a bit lazy like that, I'll admit. When I want a drink, I want one then, not in 15 minutes after I've screwed around with mixing a half-dozen ingredients. So I tried this stuff after seeing ads on FB. Glad I did! Easy as hell and makes a good old-fashioned in under a minute. I'll definitely be ordering more and trying the different flavors.

We had a lot of fun with this one! Not only did we make candied bacon to go with these fantastic cocktails, I made special home made truffles with orange and maple extracts mixed with liquid smoke and garnished with, you guessed it, candied bacon. And together these two were quite the pair, especially by the fire :) Everybody loves them. Enjoy the mental experience and have a great summer ;)

I bought the original to try it out and loved it. I was very intrigued with the maple and bacon, but was scared to pull the trigger in case I didn't like it. I now wish I bought it sooner because I LOVE it! There is more maple than bacon flavor but I don't mind because I enjoy it sweeter. Phenomenal, my husband is impressed too! He doesn’t usually like maple flavored anything but this didn’t have a deep maple taste and he loves it! I got both traditional and maple bacon, both are delicious, but I’d say the maple bacon is a touch sweeter.

Proof Old Fashion Syrups are the best mixers on the market. Must be a reason why most world-class and cutting edge restaurants and bars use Proof. I initially tried the Maple Bacon Proof Syrup in an Old-fashioned and can't say I loved it. Retrospectively, that may have been because I don' typically drink Old-Fashioneds.
Then I adapted my old family Manhattan recipe, to great success:
- 3 ounces Bulleit Rye
- 1.25 ounces Sweet Vermouth
- 0.5 ounces Maple Bacon Proof Syrup
- Splash of cherry juice

I've tried Proof Pecan and Maple Bacon, Both are outstanding. Pour in the right mixture of Proof our your favorite Bourbon, add lots of crushed ice, let it rest for about 5-10 minutes - Heaven!!!

Ok so new to Proof
Sent the Master Set to a good friend, he went crazy said it was the best stuff he has ever had. So I had to grab my bottle of Maple Bacin and see if he was correct, he was.... However I did one up on him, I added a frozen orange juice ice ball in my drink. Wow is that good, now I need to order the Master Set and continue my journey

I bought both the traditional and the maple bacon. Super easy, perfect cocktail everytime. The only problem I had was that the lid on the maple bourbon was cracked when I opened it and so I had to transfer it to another bottle. Don’t expect it to last long... so should not go bad.

Just tried it this snowy afternoon in New England. It has a lot of complexity to sweet and smoky as described. Threw some Orange skin and pulp it with some Bullet 10 year Bourbon and their you have it . Great cocktail will definitely be purchasing some more.
