Wow, I didn’t expect a “cocktail in a bottle” to taste like it was made at a bar. I have to give credit to Proof because they have perfected it. Much easier than making it with bitters and sugar, trying to get the right balance of proportions. Sometimes for a little different twist, I like putting 4-5 drops of orange bitters in mine to tone down the sweetness just a bit and add a little more depth of flavor.

I made European style American way whiskey sour with freshly squeezed lemonade, cucumbers, lime juice and tea spoon of proof syrup garnished with orange & of course 2 shots of Breckinridge whiskey, cheers

I was surprised at how much I loved the taste of the Traditional Syrup. I am a former bar/restaurant manager and bartender and I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to my Old Fashions...the ceremony of mixing, top shelf ingredients, etc. However, life is much busier and crazy these days this is exactly what the Dr. ordered. Quick, easy and tastes great! I can’t wait to try the other flavors and it gets colder and the seasons change.

I have been looking for a good drink and never really found one I really liked. Took a liking to Woodford Reserve but it needed something else to spice it up. Decided to give your product a try and I am hooked. I have never tasted anything so good. I will be honest, at my country club, well, they came close but failed when compared to how I make an Old Fashion using Proof Traditional Syrup. I also purchased Maple Bacon but have yet to try it. Hi, A 1to4 mix makes a delicious drink. My wife bought this deally-bopper for mixing salad dressing, (it was in the way and NEVER used, now it is in the way and ALWAYS being used)ice-shake and pour. Proof bottle went empty pretty fast so ordered more. Thank You, Paul

Shipping took forever (Not quite Proof’s fault, mail’s a mess right now) but it was worth the wait. The easiest, best tasting Old Fashioned I’ve ever had! Perfectly balanced, seems like it was made for Bulleit but I’d imagine it blends just as well with others.

We really enjoyed our Proof (traditional). It tasted just like we had spent time behind the bar homemaking one, but without the hassle. We did add a twist to our second glass. We have a friend that locally sells pomegranate juice, so we added a splash. It was sooooo very good, not that it needed it but just to experiment.

Proof Syrup Traditional Old Fashion mix raises my home bar to the next level. Actually, I’d say it’s better than going to the bar, since I get to choose which bourbon to use without having to pay the obscene prices they charge by the shot. And these days, I prefer having small gatherings at home with close friends instead of going to bars in public, only now I don’t have to sacrifice on the quality of our drinks.

After enjoying my first Old Fashioned in Kentucky, I was determined to create one at home. Proof syrup makes this fool proof! At first it seemed a bit pricey, but the bottle goes a long way since you only use 1/2 ounce. It makes an absolutely delicious Old Fasioned and is now a staple in our home bar!

First time cocktail using Proof..........used 3 shots of rye and 3/4 shot of Proof - perfect. Pretty amazing that it comes out exactly like the traditional Old Fashion recipe with simple syrup and muddled fruit. Nice job!

I’d say the empty rocks glass pretty much tells the story. Takes a lot of the muss and fuss out mixing and gets you into a great Old Fashioned in a wink and a blink.

I'm well into middle age, love my drinking time, but mainly cut it back to white wines or vodka cocktails. At the urging of my younger brother last New Year's Eve, I tried a Bourbon and Ginger Ale. Loved it, but only had a second one when I made a trip to NYC. Work (via the hotel package) paid for the first two cocktails, and while there I had to try a Manhattan. Took the traditional syrup to the local bar so we could compare. Bartender and I could not tell the difference, both terrific. One of the other bartenders picked (blind test)the Proof as slightly better as it was a tad less sweet.
