Not having to house all of the ingredients necessary to make an Old Fashion is such a Plus with Proof. I purchased a 91% Burbon in error so I doubled the recommended Proof, added a little simple syrup and juice from the orange peel. (Yea! I'm a light weight) Visual appearance: Pork Belly Bacon Strip! Mmmm Mmmm Good!

Just received my order, and mixed a couple with 1792 Small Batch and a couple with Makers Mark. Both were outstanding. My friend mixed a couple with Basil Haden Dark which were also outstanding. Keep up the good work.

I recently ordered all there products: Traditional, Pecan and Maple Bacon. Each was distinctive and delightful. I also found that reducing the recommended 1/2 oz to 1/4 oz better suited my taste. I highly recommend them to provide a variety of excellent flavors for your Old Fashioned drinks. I am a blender of bourbons by hobby, noncommercial, and enjoy experimenting with many fine bourbons to choose from. Now I can mix and match with these fine products from Proof. Wonderful cocktail syrup! It makes it extremely simple to make an incredible old fashion. Also, I accidentally shipped the product to my wrong address and customer service was superb in correcting my mistake.

Really a spot on product. I enjoy a good old fashioned at watering holes around DC and I like watching the bartenders make the simple syrup mix. There’s obviously an art to it. I know I could do it if I tried but after a ten hour day I’m tired of trying at anything. So I pop a little proof into some bourbon and it takes me right back to the bar - the smell, the taste, a little sweet s little bitter. Perfect. A great way to ease into the evening. So thanks!

I happened across this product from a Facebook ad, and I'm glad i did! Although I am writing about the Traditional flavor, I actually bought and enjoyed all three. I expected to like the maple bacon best, but I really think the pecan is my favorite. In addition to a great tasting drink, an added bonus is they are SO easy to make! Bourbon, Proof, DONE!

I love this product. It’s the best I have ever had and is better than most old fashioned drinks from nice bars. However - as can be seen from the picture, this delivery was faulty and the bottle was not full. I have emailed the company but have no response or resolution. That’s a real shame.

I was skeptical about Proof producing an amazing Old Fashioned. It is one of my favorite drinks but had not been successful replicating old fashioned’s I ordered at my favorite cocktail bar. Honestly, I normally sip my whiskey straight but I have to hand it to this syrup. It's tasty! Enough so I might even try their other flavors. What I especially like is that a little bit takes you a long way. And it's all natural with none of that fake stuff. Yep. I do recommend.

Product shipped within 2 days as promised. It took nearly two weeks to arrive after that. I hope that was a USPS issue and isn’t the norm. Is it good? Yes, very much so. Can I make one just as good? Usually but not consistently. Is it worth nearly $30. Not to me for the traditional. Am I going to buy again? Yes, because I really want to try the flavored options and there’s no way I can duplicate those. If those are as good as they sound and just as good as the traditional I may be...

I have to say I was skeptical at first but after reading all the positive reviews, I decided to try a bottle. Let me tell you, there is not way I would go back to bitters again - this is the bomb! I’m going to order another bottle and can’t wait to try out their other drink recipes with this. Oh, it was the Traditional that I ordered!

Proof Syrup made the preparation of a fabulous beverage easy-peasy. I normally love experimenting with various bitters but there are times when you need a solid Old Fashioned asap and Proof Syrup provides that opportunity. An excellent addition to a home bartender's arsenal!

I’ve been to a lot of bars with friends in search of the best Old Fashioned in our town. I was expecting this to be good but not make the top 15. But I have to say I’d for sure put it in the top 5 especially for the 1 min prep time.

Just plain easy and tasty. I don't need to juggle and resupply everything I need for a quick, great drink. I go a little heavier on the whiskey than prescribed, and the result is just what the doctor ordered. I will definitely buy it again!

I used to make my Old Fashioned’s only from scratch and poo poo’d the mixes. PROOF is good enough for me to save a little time and enjoy my whiskey as much and maybe more than before. First tried PROOF during the holidays and there were some shipping mixups, but they went WAY out of their way to make better than right. I am hooked!

Tried several different mixes, including my own. Nothing compares to Proof Syrup. I have also tried many different Bourbons and Ryes with Proof Syrup. Basil Hayden Dark Rye and Proof is winning combination. Add a bit of Hickory or Apple smoke is a nice change once in a while as well.

I purchased the Traditional syrup. Absolutely fantastic product. Takes the guesswork out of making THE perfect Old Fashioned and eliminates the needs for a bunch of different ingredients. If you can pour liquid, you too can make a great drink in record time. I'm sure eventually I'll try out some of the other drinks you can make with this syrup, maybe with my next bottle!

I usually make my old fashioned using Maker's Mark which I found to be a good mix however I experimented and tried Basil Hayden's. It's a Caribbean Rye with a rum finish that gives my old fashioned a nice twist simply delicious.

Love the traditional in old fashions with several of my bourbons and thought the pecan would be better with them too but, it isn’t near as good as the traditional. I love trying new bourbons and will try using the pecan with a few other ones in addition to some cooking recipes. That’s another hobby of mine.
