I can have an entire army of seedlings growing in these very sturdy containers! With the addition of a tray, they get just as much water as they need and i can reuse them endlessly. Such a great find!

After one week I can see big strong white roots poking out the bottom. I will buy the 4 cell trays as soon as they come out. 10b Aliso Viejo.

This is my first year to start seedlings. I had a few bumps with those little seed pods and decided to try the 6-cell epic gardener planters. I have had great success following the advice of their YouTube videos. These cells are super sturdy! I also transplanted to the 4-cells and the plants are doing great

These are amazing quality! I am so tired of the large planting trays that break between seasons and leave me disposing of and purchasing more plastic. I haven't planted in these yet, but they're strong and they were perfect for adding numbers, which helps me track what I have planted in which set of cells. I'm already looking forward to Kevin expanding this line (she says hopefully!).

These 6-cell inserts are very sturdy and fit 12 to a standard 1020 tray. They are nice and large for holding multi-sown beets and hungry alliums while waiting for planting. The bottom holes are great for poking the starts out.

These seed cells are the true end game. Super strong and a nice sized hole to push the seedling out even for someone with large hands/ fingers like me, side pruning air slots are great and do not reduce the strength at all. Bought the 120 pack for the best price, can’t wait to use them this spring!

Great product - I like how the design prevents the roots from coiling up. Plus very sturdy material too so it should last a very very long time. Can't wait to put these into action next spring. Satisfied customer up here in Canada A++ Thanks Kevin!

Before: When I started gardening I used whatever I could get my hands on. After 2 years: I figured I liked watching things grow. I invested in these seed starting trays. Perfect size for growing healthy seedlings with great roots. Easy to get out of trays. Don’t need my trusty plastic fork anymore. I can actually succession plant because I have enough trays to plant seeds in. Definitely recommend.

Just starting out but get tons of knowledge and help from watching Kevin on Epic Gardening. I've never started plants in containers before...usually just direct sow...but these actually surprised me at how well they seem to work. Love to grow food.

These trays are great! I will never go back to using cheap ones that break super easily. These also have the benifit of giving the roots room to grow and expand. I only have good things to say about these and will definetly be ordering another batch soon!

Using these for seed starting and propagating cuttings. All my seeds have germinated much quicker. And cuttings are rooting quicker too. The best part of these is seeing roots on the bottom and sides and knowing they’re growing well. The second best part is the ease of pushing them out to transplant. I could not love these more & my only regret is that I didn’t buy them a year sooner!

I am completely pleased with these trays. I love that I will be able to reuse them for years to come. And they are so nice to handle! There is a little room when you put them in a 1020 tray to make it easier to get them in and out. Now I’ve got to order some 4 cell ones!

I can’t say it enough, these 6cell trays are perfect. They are so sturdy and I have even put them through the dishwasher a couple times now. The picture is of my second run of seedlings now. I have no complaints and no regrets. Worth every cent.

Thank you Kevin for creating the solid Epic 6-cell seed starting trays. Since reading your Field guide to Urban Gardening book, I am thrilled to finally start my first garden this year. I have no doubt that your trays with follow me in a long gardening life.

My first experience with the epic 6 cells were with bloomdale spinach. I tried standing on a tray my self and they are insanely strong. They seem to provide excellent drainage. Thank you! I would love to see multiple sizes of this style of drainage holes like 5×5 10×10 trays and deeper larger trays and even small pots for perennials.

These are, hands down, the best seed starting trays I have ever used. They are super sturdy and the drainage holes are ideal for growing and transplanting. I am putting in another order right now. They are worth every penny.

I've been watching Epic Gardening for about a year. Love the content, learned so very much. The last two seasons, I've tried to start seeds (beginner gardener with above average success using nursery seedlings) and failed. This winter I did a deep dive on Epic Gardening, Jacque in the garden and some others I have learned from as to starting seeds, but these two have really been my go to. Despite my past failures, I decided to go all in on giving a real try as to starting seeds. Let's all acknow...

I really love the epic 6 cell seed starting trays. They have worked out well and are quite durable. Planting my seedlings is now so quick and easy. No more struggling to get the plant and delicate roots out of the seed tray. I also like that they come in 6 cell trays, that way I can plant a variety of items in different trays, close together, and move them around easily, at the appropriate time as the sprout comes up. Brilliant!

Transferred some left over starts from a flimsy plastic tray to a few trays. Much easier to handle and removing soil from a unused cell was a breeze. The 120 pack may be more than I needed but needed more than the smaller pack. Now I have some extras to loan to relatives along with starts I do for them.

Awesome product, and a reasonable price. I gave the majority to my parents for their large greenhouse (they love them, too), and I kept the rest for my small balcony garden. I am extremely impressed with the root system development, and it has made transplanting so much easier for my parents! These are also so much better for the environment, which is super important to me and is actually the reason I was looking for something just like this.

So far so good. I actually bought these after my initial planting. I chose small biodegradable grow bags, which sounded awesome in theory, but were a complete pain to fill with soil and then replanting the extra seedlings from the initial batch. These are way easier to deal with and I can easily transplant them from there directly to the garden or to grow bags if they need more time inside. I was excited to find a product that will last me forever instead of having to search for the new latest t...

I really like these seed starting trays. In the past I would recycle all the old, thin nursery trays but that was frustrating because they would crack and fall apart in the second year. A few years ago I upgraded to bootstrap farmer trays and they were good and quite heavy duty. The problem was that it was hard to get the plants out and the roots would be circled and matted in the bottom of the cell. Enter Epic Gardening traysThe design of the epic trays eliminates the root circling and mat...

The roots are loving the openness and tend to flourish. And I absolutely love how hardy these trays are. I was not expecting the how sturdy and hard they are. And I love that they will stand up to continuous uses for years to come!

More then a small gardener like myself needs but they are still pretty sweet. Well made and easy to use. My pepper seedlings appreciate them and soon I will be using them for a few other seedlings. Worth the cost and I know they will last a long time.

These have been great. Just got into gardening and I wanted to grow some peppers. I've been direct sowing on my first dozen plants, but read peppers need a little more attention. From the picture you can see the peppers are doing quite well...except the Bhut Jolokia, but that's not the trays fault.

These seed trays are so amazing!! We were using some home made seed starting trays, because it’s all we had at the time. But these are a definite upgrade. You can definitely tell they are really substantial! We will definitely be getting more in the future and recommend it to others!

Thanks, Kevin. I have so many seed starter trays that are OK but just not what I needed. Some are too flimsy, some are too difficult to remove seedlings without damaging them and some just have too many cells in a flat for a home gardener. These are perfect! The hole in the bottom is large enough to remove the plant easily. They are very durable and I should be able to use them for many years. Best of all I can start multiple vegetables under a humidity dome on one drainage tray and remove...

Although the trays are pricey, I love them because of the convenience that you can just poke the plant out from the bottom. My plants are just growing, still at the early stage, so I haven’t transplanted them yet but I know it’ll be easy to do compared to the other ones which I have to deal with and end up distorting or damaging the tray. This works perfect too for water bath since the hole from the bottom and side slits can moistened the soil.

So glad I ordered these, just wish I ordered the large package! Order is forthcoming. We have had greater success using these, even with the same lights and soil as past years. Tomatoes are nearly double! So nice to see they aren't root bound. Very happy customer here.

After using various seed starting trays, the Epic trays are the best. Their sturdy construction makes them easier to handle than the flimsy ones. They also take less soil per cell. The tomatillo seeds seem to like them and I look forward to being able to remove seedlings with a gentle push instead of a struggle.

While pricey, they're absolutely amazing and worth every penny! They'll definitely hold up for years to come. I scooped the compost right into it using the cells, and it didn't bend at all. Only thing I wish was that he had other sizes available, too! (hint...a 3"-4" one would be absolutely AMAZING...you know, like, one size up....cause I can't find this style of propagation pot in a bigger size, so I have to transplant up to an old, cheaply made one :( ) So, while I await the creation of a ...

I was kind of scare how big the holes are at the bottom and wondered if the soil would just come right out but surprisingly it did not. After all, the draw of these was the easy pop out from the bottom but I have seeds sprouting within a week in these compared to before. Same soil mix and I left it outdoors while it was still cold compared to being inside in grow light. Definitely worth the purchase. Now we just need sturdier 1080 trays...

I h admired and waited to get my share if these planter cells. Thank you Kevin for making this possible. Three weeks ago I planted in the planter on the left. With very little handling, yesterday I noticed the locally purchased one on the left us torn. Yes, it's just lettuce seedlings. I just planted the Epic Garden special planter last week. The obvious sturdiness, thickness and quality is amazing. I'm looking forward to lasting quality putting out healthy seedlings for me! Thank you!
