Need to be transparent about what is required for the set up for a water softener drain system. Please don’t assume that everyone already had a water softener or has a softener system set up already. My house was not set up for a water system so I paid a ton of money for a plumber to set up. Not having a nearby drain was the main problem. There was no information on this that I could find, and it was never brought up in discussion until though system arrived at my house so it was too late to get a full refund without losing money on shipping and restocking fees. I would’ve never done this.
