The hemet camera arrived broken and will not turn on. The power switch liters broke on the first activation. It will not turn on.
Ordered two helmet covers with my order and only one arrived. The one I received ripped at several points just trying to install it.
Shipping was a nightmare and took nearly two months to get settled and arrive. I believe If I had not been persistent and sending multiple emails, I’m not confident the items would have arrived at all.
Customer care is frustrating and makes excuses without offering solutions for the broken gear and missing items.
The thermal camera glitches briefly and not built to take abuse. Not recommended to use in rain, snow, and dusty conditions. The optic is fragile. Care should be taken to avoid dropping or abrupt impacts.
On a positive note; the thermal vision is very effective and good quality. For example able to observe rabbits and large birds at 75 yards, an human over 150 yards is achievable. Able to see details well and with clarity. Nearly on par with high end thermal imaging optics. The night vision is better then Gen I up to Gen II with IR spotlighting, works well at avoiding whitewash effects.. Without IR, the optics, the optics are about Gen II to Gen III quality.
I will change my shopping experience survey level if and when my complaints are addressed satisfactorily. Currently awaiting response on how to proceed with replacement or repair on the helmet camera.
