I did not receive the sweater I ordered. The sweater I received measures out to be an extra-small to a small size:
Chest – 42 inches
Waist - 36 inches
Shoulders – 18 inches
Sleeve – 18 inches
The measurements for a woman’s 2XL sweater should be:
Chest – 51 inches
Waist - 50 inches
Shoulders – 27 inches
Sleeve – 22 inches
The sweater I received was either mistakenly or deceptively put into a “2XL” bag (there is no size listed on the actual sweater). I informed the seller that the wrong size was sent and they offered to send another sweater however, they did not have the size I needed. I told them I wanted to return the item they sent. They then informed me that I would have to pay the shipping for the return. According to their terms of service, if the item is defective (which sending a mislabeled size clearly is a defect) they will pay the return shipping.
Then I received an email from them stating that they would refund 25% of the purchase price and I would not have to return the sweater. I have no use for a sweater that is clearly sized for a youth and I don’t feel that I should pay the shipping for their mistake. I want a refund of my original $39.95 and the seller can either pay me to ship the sweater back (at an additional cost of $29.03) or send me a prepaid shipping label. I don’t feel I should be responsible for their mistake and then have them try to barter their way out of their own terms of service.
