I paid using a credit card but the Hotel Chocolate had two withdrawals, one of which showed as pending for about ten days. I haven’t had such an experience for decades buying online. I could see that the money that was eventually taken out was less than what was showing as pending & can imagine that the initial tax calculation was an estimate. HC could have simply refunded this balance or taken an additional amount it needed rather than playing silly. I am not impressed being patronised either

I'm disappointed with this hot chocolate maker because it doesn't whisk enough, it doesn't create foam, and the chocolate ends up cold and bland. I honestly want to return it; the price is too high for the poor quality of the chocolate it produces.
