I am stoked on my Howl R1!! I purchased a 10# aluminum tank and the whole set up has been fantastic. I’ve used it on three camping trips in the CO mountains this summer and it provides the perfect amount of heat. I also haven’t run out of propane yet! Each trip was 3-4 days and burning the R1 anywhere from 1-2 hours per night I still seem to have plenty of propane left in the tank. When everyone else is heading to bed early I can stay up later by the fire. Super happy with this purchase!!
