I did send the photo of the lock through before I purchased the adaptor under advise. Unfortunately the adaptor did not work as the mechanism was in line with the door and did not sit on the outside of the door as all the videos depicted. In short I have to lock the door by putting a block of wood behind the door as the door and adaptor cant lock with the sliding door
