It's possible that in the future this device could be of more use than in my current situation. I was hoping that it would detect barking at any audible volume and react. Maybe it is reacting but of course I can't tell. I plan to move out of this common wall situation ASAP and maybe the device will help with outdoor neighbor dogs or something.
