The shopping experience was fun. There were four models to choose from, and while the basic model would have served my purposes, I talked myself into purchasing the more sophisticated one. Their marketing is very good. My first watch experienced some technical difficulties which resulted in requiring a replacement. That process was difficult. The issue was resolved, and most of the problem was a communication problem.

I bought the PULSE smartwatch hoping to have a reliable health monitor on my wrist. I know that very few watches are certified for accurate blood pressure readings, but I was hoping this might be one of them. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. I’m normally hypotensive, so I tested the watch’s blood pressure feature. It reported 154/92 when my actual reading was 87/47. That’s not a small error—it’s completely inaccurate. It also significantly underreported my heart rate, showing 91 bpm
