This is the third time I have reached out to you regarding this issu. I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out with disappointment regarding a recent purchase. After eagerly awaiting the arrival of my boots, which I received on December 31st, I was thrilled to finally wear them for the first time to a brief two-hour dinner. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned to frustration when I noticed that, after such minimal use, the iconic Marilyn image on the boots was almost entirely worn off. This outcome is deeply disappointing and not what I expected from a product of this caliber. At no point during the purchase process was I informed that the boots required additional protective measures, such as sole protectors, or that they might not be suitable for normal wear. The lack of this information feels misleading and has left me questioning the practicality and durability of the product. Given the circumstances, I kindly request a replacement pair of boots or a full refund of the purchase price. I believe this is a reasonable resolution for a product that did not meet the standards promised. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Very poor customer service.

Make sure you understand that if you buy a product from them they will not let you return them. In addition, their customer service is dishonest. This is a brief summary of my experience: I bought a pair of boots and their website stated this as their return policy: "All boots, apparel and garments purchased from Lucent Los Angeles are eligible for returns / exchanges, within 14 CALENDAR DAYS of your product’s delivery date." I received them and the boots are a narrow fit and I just wanted to exchange them. They would not accept them because they said boots are not part of their return policy. You can exchange them but not return them. They then changed their return policy on the website after I purchased them to reflect their new policy. It was dishonest and lacks integrity. I would recommend you shop elsewhere.

I purchased these boots as a Christmas gift for my husband on November 26th, anticipating plenty of time for delivery. However, a week later, I was informed by the company that the boots contained materials prohibited in California and could not be shipped here. This information was not disclosed at the time of purchase. The company offered to ship to another location or provide store credit, but not a full refund, which I found unacceptable. I had to inform my husband about the issue, but fortunately, he has a friend outside of California who could receive the package. After an unacceptable delay, the boots were finally shipped. My friend promptly forwarded them to me, but I had to bear the cost of expedited shipping to ensure they arrived in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, they still did not arrive on time, forcing me to purchase a last-minute replacement gift. Lucent should clearly warn customers about potential state regulations before purchase and offer a full refund option. Despite my early purchase, I incurred extra expenses and significant inconvenience. This poor customer service experience has severely diminished my confidence in purchasing from Lucent again. While the boots may be of high quality, the company's handling of this situation was unacceptable.
