I use to either order directly from Broadway Limited or buy from Model Train Stuff (MB Klein) since their store was only 2 miles away but the family connection between Factory Direct and Broadway Limited has made Factory Direct the go to place for preordering. I think I have at least one example of every PRR loco Broadway has made (in some cases 3 or 4) but I will say I have no interest in the S1. I do have the PRR S2. I was a child in the 50’s and grew up with the Lionel version. Thanks for the great service. I also understand that Factory Direct took over Model Train Stuff. Other than locos 70 percent or more of my other stuff came from there. Keep up the good work.

Good experience overall, including timely responses to questions but, for us in Australia, the combining of two of these locos not only attracts 10% tax but also a $50 border force fee and $45 bio security fee in AU $ which makes the shipment unaffordable. In future I would pre order one item only to keep the total cost including freight below $1000AU which does not attract these fees.

The order was easy to place. The items were well packed. For some reason, the package was not picked up by USPS for some time. I contacted Factory Direct Customer Service to ask what was causing the delay. They acted upon it, reported back to me and the items were delivered not long after that.
