Smooth running well detailed model with DCC/Sound and a great buy, luckily got it on a 24hr sale. FDM has these every now and then and was a great opportunity to snag a BLI, my first. The unit has various realistic sounds, tho i dont have DCC yet i'm sure i haven't unlocked the full potential of this stocky little GP28, but on my DC layout she runs superb!

This is my first DCC Train w/sound and I love it. It’s a BLI Pacific 4-6-2 in N scale. Looks great, works great, and sounds great.
I should be embarrassed showing my two foot oval layout under the dining table. But am not! The MRC Tech 6 Controller works fantastic for my DC trains and now the new DCC train. It only controls one train at a time (address 3), but it handles all functions and is simple to program CVs and Functions.

There are a lot or a few other switch machine motors on the market however these are pretty cost effective solutions to a under table out of sight application. Atlas has been suppling the hobbyist for many years with great value piece's to help us all achieve some level of success with our railroads. They do offer a new design but it does cost a little more money however looks like a nice piece to incorporate in your layout.

I was able to cover all three of the 4' x 8', 1/2 plywood table tops, for my "O" gauge train layout. my family thought it looked really nice and professional, rather than just looking a wooden surface. Material is sturdy enough. Just be careful not to pull it, or it will tear. Glad that I found this material listed on eBay, as I need the large rolls. Lots of small sheets out there, but I don't use 'N' or 'HO' scale anymore.

Like every other Athearn Genesis locomotive that I have purchased, this one runs very well. The motor and trucks are quiet and smooth. The weight of the locomotive is about right, and the detail and paint is excellent. I will be installing a TCS sound decoder in the not too distant future. This locomotive is worth the price.

The products I’ve purchased from factory direct hobbies have been as advertised high-quality. My issue is that the shipping is terrible. The post office takes forever to deliver something factory direct takes a while to get it into the post office then the post office delays it and it takes weeks to get the merchandise. I also would like the option to return something with my own shipping instead of overpaying for factory direct shipping.

I build only one of the two included for a small diorama at my model railroad club. I actually found the two outhouses built and lettered per the instructions on the cub's layout. I thought I would try one of these BLI Locomotives because the ad said DC/DCC Sound and I am DC at this time. I never realized that the sound would work so well on my DC layout. It is truly amazing! Bought a number of Tyco cars that I wanted to use on my layout, but they needed to have Kadee couplers installed. Saw a video about the Talgo adapters and the tool so I decided to take a change.
They work and look great. A bit of a learning curve on using the tool, but once I got the hang of it, was able to "update" all 11 cars.
