It was a frustrating experiance, the 5-6 week delivery was not realistic, at 10 weeks with NO update, I started emailing RTI, I was given ridiculous answers, first one, it was being delivered the next day, what ? what time, by who ? oh no, I didn't mean tomorrow, it's next week, this went on and on, to finally it will be there thursday in the 12th week, it will be late. The delivery guy called to say they were in Powell River, and wouldn't be delivering because they wanted to catch an earlier ferry. So was told it would be the next day, at 2 o'clock, no call for a time of delivery, I contacted the office, they got back to me to say the delivery guy was on the ferry and would call as soon as they landed, I didn't get a call until after 6pm to say it would be in the next hour, in the background was people and music, they were at a festival or something. They arrived, were very inexperianced movers, argued with each other on how they would remove the items from the truck, got my stuff out and left. It was not a good experiance. Now the actual cabinets, very very heavy, which will be a good indication of quality I hoped. But the cabinets are wrapped in cellophane, not cardboard, many of the items have chipped melomine, some drawers have chipped bottoms on the wrap. And one cabinet had a screw put in too low, so it's covered in caulking and a new screw put in it, the whole piece should have been replaced. Luckily it's against a wall, but still. I am more annoyed with the delivery time, if you can't make 5-6 weeks, then be honest, keep the customer informed, it was frustrating.
