The product is fine and the customer services it responsive. The fact that they required you to purchase a remote in order to use the blinds is ludicrous. You don't buy a TV and expect to pay extra money get the remote. Maybe a better model is to provide an option for a free 1 channel remote and then offer an upgrade to a 5, 15 channel or smart remote.

A bit complex to order. I took a long time before I was comfortable with ordering.

Ordering online is easy and customer service is a phone call away in case you have any questions. Even if you don't get a hold of someone they have always been quick to call me back.

Support promised me something you can’t deliver

I was not told I needed a remote control with one channel per motor! I purchased a control that has 5 channels, but I ordered 3 dual-motor blinds, now I can’t control all of them. This should have been mentioned when I was selecting the remote control!

It's been excellent. I've always had a person pick up the phone or call me back within an hour. The email communication has excellent as well. I made the unfortunate mistake in ordering 70% blackout instead of 100% blackout for 3 bedrooms, so I am now in the process of replacing the fabric for 7 shades. The support and helpfulness in helping to resolve this has been great and much appreciated. And it sounds like the replacement will actually be quite easy as the fabricate replacement includes the bottom bar and the tube, so replacement should only require pulling out the ends of the existing shade and installing them into the replacement shade. We'll see.

Ordered fabric samples, received in just a few days. Customer service answered a few questions and then completed the order online. Given 3-5 weeks max ship date, but in my hands in less than 3 weeks. Very responsive customer service.

Dealing with SmartWings has been an enjoyable experience. My only issue was when I called in to their support line in the beginning. I was curious about what hub to purchase. The girl I spoke to could only point me to their website and when I asked for more information, she gave a heavy sigh and an attitude. Fortunately I found their e-mail support to be one of the best I have ever dealt with. Regarding the purchasing of my shades (14), it was a simple process. After placing my order I received all my shades within a week. All packaged securely, all arrived in perfect condition and installation was very simple. I received a preprogramed remote and all my shades were labeled with the room they were made for. I was so pleased I have recommended SmartWings to my friends and one family has already purchased 7 shades for their home with two more waiting until after the holidays.

Shipments came in separate days. Second shipment came a day earlier and was set out in the rain. Parts of one shade was in another shades box.

It was easy to select options and sizes, I would have given 5 stars if I knew the standard bottom bar was silver for the 100% black out vinyl.

Very fast delivery for a fully customized product and the included labels of components and instructions made installation very simple. It's literally 3 steps: screw mounting brackets on window sill, clip blind into brackets, done.
