A few days ago I was hunting elk with my son in the backcountry. It rained hard the day before. We had to use damp firewood. I used only one of the plugs and it lasted 5 or more minutes the damp wood started on fire but it took 5 minutes to get it going. So with damp wood it had enough fire to start a good fire. Iโm sold on them and I will use them for all my fires. Beats the steel wool and wax mess by a long shot. Thank you for a great product. I will definitely use them for the rest of my fires from hear until I pass. I call it my go to fire starter.
