I've been using Bigfoot Bushcraft fire starters for 3 years now. Can't imagine starting a campfire any other way. So simple and reliable. I have the tin in my pack, and use the bag to keep the tin topped off. Great product!

I ended up with a lot of damp wood after a heavy rain. I managed to get a nice fire going with some help from the fire plugs I purchased from Bigfoot Bushcraft. It held a flame long enough to get the kindling going.

Live part time in northern Vermont and heat with a wood burning stove, I always look for and buy fire starters from the box store. A lot of the times we look for them and are sold out. In addition these bricks are messy and a challenge to stow. Your product checked a few boxes, small, not messy, easy to stow away and work as advertised, very surprised one of these plugs start my fire. Thanks Rob

After getting flooded out in our kayaks in 45F water and 40 F weather we rushed to start a fire. We just happened to be packing Big Foots Fire Plugs to do a promo for Max. Can say how glad we were to have these handy. Fighting hypothermia I wasn't thinking clearly to get the camera going but I shot how easy it was to start the fire the next day and included it on my YouTube channel. Thanks to Max & Bigfoot Bushcraft from everyone at Camping Adventures With Carl

I had a chance to use this fantastic product on a recent motorcycle camping trip and can't wait to put them to the test on more trips. I also plan to pack some of these Bigfoot Bushcraft fire plugs in my pack for an upcoming thru-hike. Thoroughly impressed with the cool product and the ferro rod is top notch compared to others I have used in the past. I also featured these fireplugs on a recent YouTube video. https://youtu.be/5PQ-Ej6t9iM

I originally bought a 200 pack of the fire plugs , I then purchased the fire starters and my last purchase was the stove , fire pit. This solid , heavy and looks well made. I haven’t used it yet but I’m ready for any emergency or at a camping getaway.

Bigfoot Bushcraft makes some truly high quality stuff! The fire starters are long lasting and easy to use and great to keep handy. Then you add the extra thick ferro rod and you have an awesome combo for fire starting! Great job, BB! Mark (Backcountry Paddler)

Works great!! Lights up immediately and burns for a good time. I bought them for a disaster kit but I use them in my burn barrel and fire pit. Great product at a good price.

Wow! These fire plugs really held up after my dirt stomp test followed by a water dunk. This is truly a product I would rely on in a survival situation. Oh yeah, and the ferro rod is awesome 😎 my girlfriend loves when I shoot the sparks at her 😂

First of all, let me just say that I’m now the biggest fan of Bigfoot Bushcraft! The products are superior and I always get my order lickety-split. I love this kit I recently got and can’t wait to test out the ferro rod. I already know the fire plugs are amazing. Last time I went camping they stayed ignited longer than 5 minutes each (I think it was pretty close to 8 minutes). Love you guys!

These things light right up, and stay lit! I bought them strictly for backpacking, but ended up using them to start my outdoor pizza oven as well. Thanks for offering a reasonable price too, Bigfoot!

Having fun using these. I am trying to boost my outdoor skills and figured learning how to use a ferro rod to make a fire is a good start. I’ve started a few fires already and cooked some steaks recently with an outdoor grate and some wood I collected. I will definitely purchase some more of these fire plugs. Thank you

Love the kit I bought for a reasonable price. Perfect storage providing to opportunity to fill several cans to be stored in various location. My son and I have one each in our go bags, one in my truck one in a survival bag when traveling with another in a supply bag should the situation warrant longer jaunts. Need to purchase an additional striker for us each to have one as these are top quality strikers. This solution to a potential difficult situation mitigates one of many issues if the SH...

These fire plugs are a step up from my normal homemade ones, they last longer and they work better in the wet damp air, definitely easy to use, just one or two strikes and they are burning.

These fire plugs are excellent! I just got them little over a week ago and already I’ve had a few fires to end my work shift on cold nights with the guys! They ignite super easy and have long burn times which makes getting a fire going a snap!

Hadn’t used a ferro rod in a long time and started a jolly little fire on the fourth stroke, even with the ‘blacking’ on the new rod. The firestarters are impressive too. Hot and steady. A great pair of products.

Tested it purposely on a cold day and I knew right then it was going to have a permanent place in my truck. I grilled a bison steak, some Shrimp and a lobster tail the first use. Then followed it up with a sizable portion of country style ribs the next day. I’ve cooked with wood and charcoal and absolutely love this convenient grill. My jetboil fuel is going to last much longer now!

I’m not going to Kie i bought these purely because I’m a skeptic by nature. The water proof claim had me immediately thinking that this was another BS gimmick. And at first I thought that’s exactly what they were. However, I didn’t read the instructions. Once I did these fire starters performed as advertised. I dropped the first one in a bucket of water and let it soak, and the second was just dry. I used my fire steel to light them both and it was as easy as could be. The five minute burn ti...

I took these backpacking and it was too windy for a fire but for a test, I twisted one open and within a few scrapes of the ferro rod, a spark lit it up and it burned steady, even in strong winds. I smothered it out, packed it out and used it to start my bbq coals back home. Great stuff, quality gear. The rod is very thick and will last a long long time. I bet they even burn while floating in water!

The Bigfoot Bushcraft fire plugs are easy to use, compact to carry, and have a burn time of a little over minutes in our tests. Fluffing out their cotton fibers makes it easy for them to take a spark. The travel tin makes it super convenient to carry them and holds about 27 of the fire plugs. Previously, my favorite fire starter was cottonballs coated with petroleum jelly. These fire plugs are smaller and cleaner to carry and work equally as well.

My friend Liz, new to camping, has never started a campfire. So finely at 28 years old she used the Fire plus and farrow rod. She literally said it was too easy. Lol. Then she lit a few more plugs after we dunked them in water. Just to show her how water didn’t really affect them. She said she would need Fire Plugs to survive. Lol. Very entertaining experience.

I am really digging my flatpack grill. Will be using it during my camping / fly fishing trips this season in place of my Coleman propane stove. Easily packable, sturdy, durable and a breeze to set up.

This is hands down the best flame extender I’ve ever used. I’ve used an empty bic lighter on these and they start with just that little spark. Great product. Will be ordering more.

These fire starters are incredible. They work VERY well. I also purchased the flint rod and it hardly took any effort to ignite the fire starters. I can’t recommend them enough! I will be adding these to all my kits.

This was the test for the field in my backyard. Lit it with the ferro rod I also ordered. Two strikes, it lit right up. Burned long and hot got the fire going quickly with barely any kindling. They work wet very well also. Always keep on my kayak for long trips. The best fire starters I’ve ever used in the wild

I have had this for a month now and it has been on 2 moose hunting trips with it. I went 30 miles down the river with my 4 year old and used it every night. We caught salmon and trout every day and used the grill to cook everything and boil water. Solid construction, cools off quite fast and folds up easily. It is a bit heavy if you're hiking in but we were in a canoe so it worked wonderfully. Gonna live in the back of my truck for beach adventures. Great product.

Very pleased with the small fire pit by Bigfoot Bushcraft that i purchased about two months ago. Perfect for car camping and above ground lot camping. Light weight and sturdy. Used small pieces of split wood, burned well with easy clean up. Quick break down with a nice tote bag. Haven't grilled on it yet but looking forward on my nice adventure. Would recommend this product.

On an 8 day spring hunting trip where we got rained on almost daily, starting a fire was a must to dry off and stay warm. Because of the constant rain we had to make the fires with wet wood, which is a tedious task, but with the fire starters it made it so much easier. Without the Bigfoot Bushcraft fire starters, making a fire would’ve been a chore. Because we brought only a handful of them, we tore them in half for each fire, and it was more than enough to get things going! I will be a long ter...

Bigfoot Bushcraft Fire Plugs are my preferred fire starters for my Preparedness Ready Bag. I have tested several similar products and they a good. But, these plugs are reliable and a guaranteed method to start a fire. While I have several methods to start a fire in the fire kit, the Fire plugs are the best. One good spark from the ferosium rod and you have a lit plug. They work in the rain, with wet wood, and you can cut small chunks off if you need to make them last for a prolonged adventu...

Each of them were able to ignight there bird nest with minimal effort due to your wonderful product. Thank you and I will be purchasing more in the future.
