The softener is working good but I do have a few concerns. The first being the amount of air bubbles being trapped in our water now makes the water come out slightly cloudy then settles clear. The second is that the filter and softener sold as a set had different size NPT connectors included. When I reached out to see if there was a 3/4” connectors could purchase I was unable to get a response. It wasn’t the end of the world but it wasn’t ideal.

This was my second softener from you folks. I had a Fleck6700XTR for which lasted 12 years. My only comment on this newer unit is related to the documentation supplied. The Programing your Softener section should provide documentation on all steps used in the software not just those used in a basic installation. Plus what the function is for each step similar to what was used in the Fleck unit.

The difficult part was setting up meter regeneration override because I don't use much water. I live alone and use +/- 300 gallons per week. That meant that I would have to set up manual regeneration to override metered regeneration and have it work every two weeks.

Easy for handyman to install but a bit of a snafu when installing. Was not really told that you need to flush this thing before you hook it up to your house…it clogged all of our toilets and sinks and we had to remove the faucets to get the excess coal out of them. That aside it now works fine and the water is cleaner.

Easy to install. Only observation is to make certain the guidance on the use of PTFE tape is followed. Lacking lots of tape and aggressively tightening the connections, they will leak at the control head.

It immediately worked taking the sulphuric from our absolutely horrible smelling water. After our 17 year old system failed, we replaced it with a cheap iron filter from Home Depot. Big mistake. Didn’t work at all. Turned all of our plumbing black and made the house smell horrible. After buying your filter, everything is working fine. It still has days where the water has odor and trace amounts of black particles, but overall, I am very happy with the system.
