I was skeptical about ordering this at first. I’ve been scammed with products that seem too good to be true. HOWEVER… this pan showed up and DID NOT disappoint! It flattens each dough ball into perfect tortillas and in a fraction of the time it would take to roll them out. I am so impressed with the Presa Pan!

Love it Wish I’d bought two . . The texture takes a bit of adaptation. Probably due to the smooth surface. Be careful with the pressure or you will end up with tissue paper thin tortillas. It doesn’t take a whole lot . This isn’t your grandmothers comal . It gets the job done. Turned out a couple dozen in less than 20 minutes. The most cumbersome step when making flour tortillas is rolling them into not so perfect circles. With this pan, it presses masa into perfect circles and also cooks the tortilla. I recommend this product.

Well, it's really good to have this piece of equipment especially for men who can't make traditional Roti. In the beginning it took me a little time to learn how actually it works but within a week I feel like I am good at it. I use a sourdough discard recipe for my tortillas and the traditional way of pressing them then cooking on a comal was not working for me. The dough would always shrink back quickly as soon as I was done pressing. With the Presapan, my tortillas keep their shape as it cooks initially which helps a ton with shrinkage. I love it!

I started by making 12 tortillas. I didn't season the pan first, only washed and dried it. The first five or six stuck to the top and I had to "pry" them off before I could turn them over.
