I wanted the extra genes and had to pay another $199. I shouldn't have sent my first one in so quickly and I would have gotten all the new genes too. Right now I don't think it was worth the extra money but maybe down the road it will be more helpful. I enjoy the DNA company lives and learn a lot from them.

Collection kit was good but the instructions could be a little more clear. The tube has a place for name but instructions only list date of birth and gender so I'm assuming I was not supposed to put a name on the tube. Other than that collection was easy.

Need a bigger shipping envelope or box. My first kit was lost somewhere at Fedex. They explained that small envelopes sometimes fall through the openings on the conveyor belts. I had to get another kit, repeat and send it in. It put me a couple weeks behind. I hope they can expedite the results to make up for the time lost.

Test kitt was good, however the return envelop label was unreadable, it took fedex guys awhile to figure it out the address, plus, I got my results however I bought also a time with a clinician to interpretate those results, I have already send two emails, no response back.

I love the idea however the picture shows someone spitting onto a tube when you actually just rub your cheek with a swab. It was very simple to do and the instructions were great. I did have some trouble sending it back as one company wouldn’t except it and had to go elsewhere. I would recommend an email be added to the process so we know when you receive the sample. Can’t wait for the results 😊

The packaging looked great and was easy to follow. I had a small issue with registration at first—I think the QR code scanned quicker than I realized, so when I tried again, it said the registration number was already taken. Everything worked out fine in the end. A pre-labeled return envelope would have been handy; the envelope was included but not labeled.

All went well. Important to take time to check what info goes where. Just wished I had thought to have a little glass or similar to stand the collection tube in while I used one hand to help keep my mouth open while using the other hand to manipulate the swab device.

There was thick cloth bag I didn't see mentioned in the instructions. It wasn't clear to me when to use it. Though i did use it to cover the tube before putting it in the sample clear bag. Clear directions would be appreciated. Also writing the requested information of name gender and date of birth on a round tube is difficult. The improvement I would make is having the label separate & then stick it on the tube after its written on because its really hard to write on the small round tube.
