My cabinets when from chaos to calming because of the Mason Genie! I can now see what I have and how much. It’s great! And this was a test…I’ll be moving to Hawaii soon, and it’s very humid there. Keeping dry goods dry and fresh is very hard because humidity seeps into everything there. But with a Mason Genie, and the airtight seal it creates, I know my pantry will stay fresh and usable when I move!

This is perfect for sealing fruits, vegetables, and even crackers. Lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, and green peppers I picked from my garden remained crispy and fresh for over a week. Store bought blueberries last days longer than usual. I just had to recharge the sealing unit after almost daily use for over 2 weeks. Wish I'd gotten the Mason Genie a long time ago!

Had trouble until I realized there were 2 parts. Have used it on mushrooms and they are still looking fresh after 2 weeks. Grapes are also lasting longer. Just put some brown sugar to the test. Haven't had a chance to use it on anything else.

Mason Genie is a great product. Have a bit of patience when removing the Mason Genie off the jar, after the timer has stopped. Gentlly, but firmly wiggle it off, if needed. Bonus! Regular canning lids work, even if they have been used previously. (Bernardin, Kerr, etc)

Needed to check the rubber around the closure and straighten it out a little a few times to get a good seal. Not a big problem. Product does what it is designed to do.

Only used it twice, but have ordered enough mason jars to convert all my storage containers. Only lesson so far is to twist off after a seal. Only win was using peaches. I peeled several peaches for later and placed them in two jars. One sealed with the genie, and one with a screw lid. Mason genie peaches haven’t changed color, but the screw top jar is browning slightly. Great product
