I did not receive the first Mason Genie that I ordered. I called the company, they responded right away and sent out a new one immediately. I was very impressed.

I bought me the jar sealer and small bag sealer! Bought my 3 girls a jar sealer for Christmas then they wanted the vacuum sealer for the freezer so they got one each for their birthdays! Told my sister and she ordered one down in Alvin Texas!

I never thought about sealing our food products, but i begin to research what our food was packaged in and it really bothered me, then I came across Mason Genie on Facebook, and I was curious, so I purchased 2, and I absolutely love them. I bought a new shelf, and now I am sealing all my stuff in Mason jars! They are great! Thanks

I've been wanted to purchase this type of vacuum sealer for a few months. Seeing my cousin using it, during her fall harvest. I thought it would be quicker for myself because I'm a big canner/pickling guy. But it wouldn't work for certain types of foods. But we're excited to be using it for all kinds of nuts, flours, rices, coffee beans. Things like that.
The second one is for a gift for a friend that puts all her dry goods in Mason jars
Thank you

I love it! It’s like being with my Grandma Kight and Joe and Attis Ansley. They always had a pantry whole of jars. Papa made dry hills to keep potatoes good for over a year. He had food in another area that was a years + supply of meats. Both my grandmothers could go for a year before needing to buy more. We planned everything so I had a regular schedule of stuff for processing and after boiling, putting it all away and enough to last a year. They always shared everything left over. Now, it’s...

OK, have tried it now on several items, in tall mason jars I put Spring Mix lettuce, in another baby carrots and another raisins. So far the raisins are doing well, the carrots also after a week and still watching the lettuce after only two days. If the vegitables do well and keep things longer I will be over the moon.

So far my experience has been pretty uneventful, it works just like it is advertised, it fits over both sizes of jars, and I have stored more stuff in my mason jars than I ever thought I would. It has made my pantry a lot less cluttered and I know what is being stored cause I can visually see everything through the jars. It’s a great product and if this one ever goes out, I will definitely get another one and I have recommended to my friends and family this product because it works.

I was a little hesitant at first, so I sealed some garden cherry tomatoes in one jar and some store bought tortilla chips in another. I sealed them on the 9th of Oct. The tomatoes lasted longer than normal but I didn’t check them soon enough. I just opened the sealed tortilla chips and they still tasted as fresh as when I bought them!! I’m impressed!! I’m anxious to start storing more items.
Thank you for a great product!!
I’m already telling my friends about it!

It is exactly as described. Works great and holds a charge extremely well. Now I'm looking for more to seal! I even sealed a couple of regular lids and I'm saving SO much room!! Love it!

It works great! I have used it on walnuts, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, and grapes so far. The Mason Genie extended the life of the cherry tomatoes, strawberries, and grapes about an extra week or more while stored in the refrigerator. The walnuts (shelled) are kept fresh on the pantry shelf. As I consume anything in the jars, I take out what I need then reseal the jar.

I buy baby spinach and usually end up throwing half of it out because it starts to go bad before I can use it all. With the Mason Genie it lasts weeks longer! I'm so pleased.

I got a Mason Genie about 7 months ago and loved. Then it stopped working out of nowhere about 6 months in. Customer service was responsive and helpful. I just had to answer a few questions about the issue and they sent me a whole new unit. Back in business!

I didn't fully understand the instructions with using the WIDE jars. However, in reviewing a video, I was able to remove the small mouth and use the wide mouth.
I sealed 8 jars of dried goods and the lid stayed contacted to the jar.
I was VERY surprised how well it work. I was very skeptical but I use a lot of flour and wanted to store without it going bad, as well as brownsugar.
Thank You

Although, Mason Jars have been around forever it’s so easy to get distracted with other products that cost more and don’t satisfy expectations. Mason Jars benefits for Organizing and Minimizing is the very thing needed to getting back to simple basics that work wonderfully, economically along with the MasonGenie to help in redefining storage projects.

I was a bit skeptical but willing to give it a try because I kept losing raspberries, blackberries and blueberries to mold and rot. Well the simple answer is it works! My fruit now lasts 2 times longer using the mason genie! I love it and bought my daughter in law one! Now I look around my kitchen to figure out what else I can seal up in jars!

Was taking a Purdue Ag Extension gardening class this week and passed it around in the class. Everyone thought it was fantastic. Haven't had a chance to use it yet.
We're in the middle of Morel season here and it's a boom year. Has anyone tried extending their freshness by using the MasonGenie?

Is the plastic lid opener available separately. Almost thought it was going to break when opening a jar.

Love it! Especially for my fresh grapes & strawberries that go bad so quickly. I thoroughly wash them, pat them dry with a paper towel & seal them. To keep the cover from bending/scratching when I open the top I place the edge of a kitchen towel over it. The battery life is nice and long too!

It took me a minute to understand putting the genie on the jar and once on and sealed it took me a few minutes to take off the jar. I got it now. It vacuums just as stated and you definitely know when it doesn't seal correctly. So far I am very very happy with the genie.

I’m really just getting started. I’ve washed my mason jars so they’re ready for filling and I plan to put many things in the mason jars but life is busy and this will take place over a period of time. I’m sure I’ll be very happy with the mason Genie, I do hope that it maintains its ability to do what it claims. If it wears out very quickly I’ll be disappointed. If it lasts a long time I’ll be very happy, but I’ve barely started using it yet. Just a few things.
