Mason Genie ReviewsSee store reviews

The Mason Genie seals the jars so well. I have another vacuum sealer that fails 40%of the time. That's why i invested in Mason Genie and it was worth it.

I have started to dehydrate my herbs and food from our garden. I needed a way to preserve them. I admit, I bought a want to be jar sealer (not Mason) because I didn’t want to spend $50.00. I sent it back the day I tried to use it. Then spent the money for the “real” mason jar sealer. Works great. What a great invention.

I'm not exactly sure if they exist but i'm eventually going to be trying to buy the biggest mason jars i can possibly find and i would love a mason genie that fits even those bigger sizes.

I’ve used a food saver machine for years but the bags get expensive and the machine takes up a lot of room. So I held my breath when this arrived. I looked around for something to test it with. Choose some bread and it worked wonderfully! Nice variety of bag sizes. Old machine is already gone!

I love the MasonGenie so much more than I thought I would! I'm now looking for things to put in my jars vs. ziplock bags. So easy to use and reuse. I even bought my daughter in law one!

It works great to seal up those jars and it kept my strawberries and raspberries fresh for a week, until I used them. My only concern is that prying it off after it seals is quite a chore. I always have to grab something like a silicone piece to pull it off. But otherwise, works well.

I really like my Mason genie. I couldn’t wait to use it. Right out of the box it was charged and I got busy with vacuum sealing some fruit and pantry items. This is a great investment.

Have only used It twice. Once to seal a large chocolate piece and then used it on some left over spaghetti sauce. Both in the fridge as I did not believe the sauce should sit on the counter. Created a great seal and have resealed the choco once without any problems. Working fine.

I'm excited to have this vacuum creating mason jar sealer for my honey packaging! The supplier helped me work through a couple concerns and It's working great to help preserve, and make better presentation for my home collected, raw honey! Many thanks and recommendations!

I had a knock off brand and no matter what I would do, it wouldn’t seal any jars. I bought the Mason Genie just to see if the real deal would work. It’s AMAZING!! It’s so easy to use and seals quickly.

I love the mason genie! It works great, I’ve sealed all my dry goods and my fresh fruit. I do use another lid on top of the lid I’m taking off as suggested and it does keep the sealed lid from getting bent when removing. Get one, you won’t be sorry!

I absolutely love how easy it is to use my new Mason Genie! I will have so much less waste now that I have a better way to keep it fresh. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

We were using plastic containers and switched to the Mason jars. We love the way the jars look in our pantry with all of our dry goods. We are also currently using them to store our tomatoes that have ripened until we get enough to can. No worries about spoilage. I am also using them for my dried herbs. Everything went smoothly with the Mason Genie. It was so easy to use and the fact that it is rechargeable and the lids are reusable is a major plus. Love everything about it.

I absolutely love it! We cook with alot of vegetables and I cut them all up on Sunday seal them in a mason jar and they are fresh and perfect every time! Also works great when we go camping! Mason jar takes up less room and my fridge and pantry are organized!!! Best purchase ever!!

So far I’m happy with this purchase. Have been working through my pantry and now I need to get more lids. After doing some shopping the fresh produce is next. That is the real test. Thank you.

I was procrastinating learning how to preserve because of all of the steps involved, The Mason Genie makes it so easy to store food it literally was a no brainer!

Tryed it out with rice. I was v skeptical!! Rice in jar, remembered viedo said. "Walk away till it stops". Did that and WOW I was very impressed. Tight seal. Even told my girlfriend about it.

I’ve been storing food in mason jars for several years now, but lost a fair amount of produce because the seal wasn’t airtight. Now, problem solved! I love that you can seal and reseal over and over again. Very user friendly!

Love the Mason Genie. I had ordered one from a big box store and it was not the original Mason Genie and did not work. I splurged nd bought the real thing and wow, it works. Thank You.

Sometimes it is hard to remove from seal but my grip is not that good. Had to fix the ring in the sealer lid to go where it should be and that helped. Also found that it will definitely not seal with even the tiniest flaw in the mason jar. Had one that I didn’t see that had the tiniest crack around the rim and it wouldn’t seal. Finally got the hang of using it so am happy having it.

Changing out all my storage containers to glass. The Mason Genie seals my jars easily and quickly! I love it, plus small enough to sit on my counter so it's handy.

Working good so far, I tested it by ceiling up strawberries in a quart size mason jar. Has kept them for a week or better without them turning. Using the mason jars and trashcan ceiling them up has worked out quite well for our household.

I have been using a Foodsaver for years. I have recently gotten into freeze drying. The Foodsaver works to seal jars, but The Mason Genie is easier and less bulk on the counter.

I tried the Mason Genie on salted peanuts since they do not stay fresh once you open the can. It worked like a charm, it has been a week and I opened them today and they are just as crunchy. Thank you

I am so pleased with my Mason Genie. I got the Mom's Kit which included everything I needed to begin dry canning. It works so well, it's super easy to use and now I can make all of my dry recipes shelf stable. So far I've dry canned Soup of everything, onion soup, pancake mix, corn muffin mix and hot chocolate. Looking forward to dry canning many more recipes.

I love this compact jar sealer! It's easy to use, easy to store, and I've already found so many uses for it for both the pantry and the refrigerator. I've only had it a short time, but so far so awesome!

My goal is to get rid of the plastic in my kitchen. I had plenty of mason jars so the Mason Genie made perfect sense. I have jars of left over sauce and jars of fresh berries that i open and reseal numerous times. It seals tight every time.

Love being able to quickly vacuum seal things ready for freezer or pantry. Only problem I have is making sure bag is zip sealed. It would be a plus if the seal changed color to show it is absolutely sealed tight.

I have only used it once and so far I love it! You are right It's a lot easier than using the vacuum sealer and all those bags! I have ordered extras for Christmas gifts this year.

Fantastic Customer Service!!!!!!!!! My 1st genie unfortunatly quit working too soon. Customer support was able to give me trouble shooting ideas and warrenty information. Unfortunatly my 1st genie did not make it, however A full replacent was delivered in rechord time. Lex

This seal very well. My strawberries stayed fresh for week now and the only thing I seen so far is raspberries get soft for the ones at the bottom. Otherwise I love it and can’t wait to try different foods. Wish I order more chalkboard lids when I did my purchase.

Mason Genie works great! I previously bought a knock-off brand which stopped working the second day. Mason Genie is dependable and I could not be more satisfied with this purchase. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to save money on food storage.

Excellent product! I have always thrown out so much food. Now I can save my berries for two plus weeks. They are fresh every time I open the jar. I make salads for the week, and when the jar is opened, they are fresh.

I bought it as a gift for my son’s 46 birthday. I know he will love it but since I bought it when I saw it I have not yet given it to him. He has been a vegan since he was 14 years old. An extremely healthy person. So very careful what he eats and drinks. He has been a cyclist for 20 years racing 100 mile races most weekends. I figured he could transfer most of his energy drink mixes from their original packaging to glass and use your lids to seal them!

It does a great job. I use mine a lot to keep fresh berries good for an extended period of time. With the price of groceries, It is worth getting one even just to extend shelf life of staples or fresh produce.

The order came so quick. Have been using it every day and it’s totally awesome!! So more fridge stuff going to ruins. Best thing in my kitchen right now, such a nice gift from my hubby Geo. Liz B

I reorganized my whole pantry and also bought one for my boyfriend at the same time and look forward to how it works for him I’ve already reordered more black lids Anxious to see how refrigerated items hold up And it’s good to be using canning jars just sitting in my cupboard

I bought myself a Mason Genie because these days, I am trying to make as much organic and fresh food and prep. I tried it for the first time making some pickled onions. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! It is so quick and simple. I can't wait to get some more lids and stock up!!!!

It arrived in perfect condition, and works perfectly, started putting lids on everything especially my sliced almonds and weeks later taste as if I had just bought them absolutely wonderful. 😊

So far it will do what I want it to do. I been keeping food in jars most of my life. Passed on for 5 generations. So This will make it much easier for me to keep my food fresher. Thanks
