I heard about From Sugar for a long time on Instagram and I was so excited to finally try it out. I ordered the cake as part of a mini birthday surprise for one of my friends. We picked it up on a Saturday and it stayed fresh until the day of the surprise (the following Monday). We were a group of 7 but the size was just enough for us as a little treat. My friends all said the cake was cute, that the flavour was good and just the right amount of sweetness ☺️ Would definitely order from here agai...

It fed 20 or so of us easily - we cut it into squares, rather than wedges, so half the cake was left which I got to take home (its still tasty a week later after being in the fridge). Would definitely recommend!

Got it in the lemon with lemon curd flavour and the balance of sweet and tart was perfect! The buttercream was the best not-too-sweet velvety texture and all of my guests loved it!
Stella herself was also very flexible and accomodating with the requests to adjust the design, and the whole process was super easy and flexible.

Unfortunately this flavour cake wasn’t my cup of tea and that is all due to personal preference, absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the cake! This is also my second cake order (first cake was the berry one) and I will be ordering a different flavour for our next event. The cake is dense but moist! So perfect for having with your morning coffee. Amazing customer service.

The cake when it arrived was so beautiful and was my dream birthday cake so thank you! I was truly so happy!! When we cut the cake - we did notice it had a darker crust on the outer of the cake, which did taste a bit drier and overdone/nearly burnt, which some others commented on but I think the lemon curd was the best part and helped to partially offset this :) overall was happy with it but might’ve been a one off with the cake texture.
