Very nice boots. I also have the Indiana Jones boot from Luosjiet. The sizing is different even if I ordered the size 38 for both. The service boots is larger. I should have ordered half a size smaller for a better fit.Both have quality leather and assembly.

They are decent insoles. Much better than the ones I can get at the shoe store or grocery store, but I worry the foam will break down quickly. Leather topped is the way to go, as they don’t wear through and pill up like a cloth topped insole.

The craftsmanship and overall look are on par with the brand that inspired the Indy model. However, the leather finish, where the quarters meet the vamp (around the first eyelets) - is showing significant wear marks. It appears to be a teacore, or painted finish… for the price point, and comfortable last you couldn’t ask for much more. I also have and prefer the natural waxed version.

Quality materials and craftsmanship is outstanding. The boot construction is solid, but very, very stiff. Will require a significant amount of time for breaking it in.
Boot opening is digging into the ankle. Better tie laces up right before the speed hooks, and instead, wrap laces around the ankle before tying the knot; it will ease the stiffness until everything gets a bit looser. The quality of these boots seems to be quite high. Nice leather, clean stitching, uniform details throughout. The leather is quite stiff, but I would expect it will break in nicely with time.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to confirm any long term information about these boots. I followed the sizing guide and turns out either my other shoes don’t match up to it (I have Redwings AND Alden’s), or their guide is off. The shoes I got were about a full size too big.
I may try to buy another pair...

So far so good. Just unboxed them and put them on. I ordered the 12.5 D and it fits perfect. They look excellent , although not perfect. While they didn't drop a full stitch on the outsole, they did drop it halfway. But it's barely noticeable only if you're looking for it. The leather looks and smells great. The waxed flesh is beautiful and so far the boot is not too stiff so should not require too much break in.
Edit: One thing I've noticed is that the outsole of the boot is uneven. The heal ...

I got the Tan MocToe. I like the look and comfort, but I usually where an 11 or 10.5 The 11 is a 45 on the site. It was a bit bigger than normal. So if you not sure, then go down a bit.
I do have one major issue. The speed hooks are tiny and the lace just slips off and it takes a long time to tie and they tend to come loose. You can solve the problem partially by wrapping the laces around the back.

Forgot to add in my review that the boots on the website were pictured with a dark brown welt finish. Mine came raw/natural. I used Fiebing's dye and some wax polish to achieve the same result as advertised. Check both my photos. If you order, maybe leave a comment just in case that you want a dark welt
