Just buy it! I shopped around and compared. This one is the best one for the money and it’s all glass/metal. Filters last 10 years. Easy to assemble. Fast shipping and ample padding in the box. I added some mineral stones from another company to the bottom tank and it tastes like spring water. I love my water machine - being able to see the water and store it in glass is both aesthetically pleasing, practical and much healthier than BPA plastic. The filters are really easy to clean and install. Cleaning the entire system a couple of times a year I find very rewarding when I take my time to lay out several thick towels and do things methodically and mindfully, especially as the large glass pieces require taking extra care.

I love having clean water in a glass container. Realize that the top water tank where the filters does not leak however it is not water tight and if you overfill the bottom it will leak through the seal. Beside that I love this thing!

Although they're made in China and I'm extremely suspicious about the integrity of any product made in China, my nasty summer algae flavored tap water tastes very neutral now. I'm also a bit skeptical about their claim to create safe water from untreated well, stream or rain water. On a positive note, they fit my Royal Berkey unit which Berkey has been unable to provide filters for. Continually out of stock! Wish me luck

I don't drink regular tap water and have been using the Apsopure 5 gallon jugs, that are 42 pounds.
