I am very happy with my purchase of the water machine. It was fairly simple to set up, but I recommend washing it thoroughly beforehand. I thought it was odd that the instructions included said that the container was clean and to only use a towel to wipe down. I found it to be full of debris, dust, what looked like dried leaves/sticks, and possibly small shards of glass??? We purchased our water machine due to experiencing a week long power outage. We had power entirely through Harvey but with the expansion in our area with more communities, the power now goes out simply if a squirrel crosses a power line. I am very picky with water and our fridge is the only “filtered” water source we have. I can barely drink bottled water, it is hard for me. A very easy system to setup and use. Simple beyond belief. Within 15 minutes of receiving it, it was setup and filtering water.. Whatever container you are going to fill, just fill with regular water from your source and put that into the water machine, then fill that container with water from the water machine and your water stays at the appropriate level. First off, I balked at reviewing this product because I honestly have not had my tap water tested, or tested the water filtered by The Water Machine. We switched from an RO system to this filtration system. WE LOVE IT! The RO system was too much technology of water lines and filters, replacing batteries, etc. I wasn’t sold on other stainless steel tanks (hard to find one manufactured in the US, with US steel).
