This is my fourth pair of these pants, so I guess I really them! They're super stretchy and durable. I use them for indoor and outdoor, and for bouldering, sport and trad.

Customer photo review of Deploy 325 Headlamp
SteffenVerified
This feels like the ultimate emergency or rock climbing or short run or camping headlamp. I'll definitely bring a larger lamp (more battery) when anticipating play/travel in darkness over 2h, but anything in that range the extreme lightweight of this headlaile still having lots of lumens to offer easily makes it my preferred choice. the weight and slim package makes it radically different to use compared to normal headlamps, just way more comfortable. I bought a second one for more critical miss...

Customer photo review of Men's Origin VS+1
DavidVerified
Super comfy shoes best used in indoor climbing on sport or boulder. This shoes have a really thick rubber sole so they work better artificial hold and they are more durable. The thickness reduce sensitivity but add durability and the full sole add feet stability while it reduce flexibility. Most part of the shoes is covered in rubber adding hooking and friction options. Good for long climbing session in gym on medium rate (5.8 to 5.10d). Best for long sessions and I would not recommend on hard s...

I can’t believe I’d never tried these on before. Finding shoes that actually fit my super specific feet is usually a struggle… but these? Nailed it. I was just looking for a comfortable warm-up shoe and somehow ended up liking them so much I grabbed two pairs 😅 Safe to say they’ve earned a permanent spot in the warm up rotation.

Love these shoes! Comfortable, not too aggressive, but a step up from a Tarantula and Finale. Perfect middle ground, this shoe provides more than enough performance for me indoors as an intermediate climber.

Customer photo review of Firecrest 38 Backpack
BridgetVerified
The backpack is lightweight and packed with useful features, all while maintaining a non-bulky design. As a dedicated ski touring backpack, it's more than sufficient for an entire day on the tour. Being 5'5", I purchased the S/M size, and it fits perfectly – it's hands down one of the most comfortable packs I've ever owned.

Customer photo review of Men's Extravert Gloves (Past Season)
CedricVerified
The extravert glove is simply a staple. Ice climbing, skiing and backcountry AT touring. They perform well, the dexterity is fantastic and they are warm. Waterproofing is not total as breatheability is more important for intense activities. I love these gloves, I had several of the previous iterations (8-10 year old pair in gray in photo). The evolution is great to see, reinforcements have been made in critical wear areas and it just shows that OR is always innovating and listening to thier cust...

Customer photo review of Indalo
TimothyVerified
Really fantastic shoe - asymmetric and downturned, but narrower than many of the alternatives from La Sportiva and Scarpa. XS Grip rubber is more durable than XS Grip 2, but still very sticky. The one thing to look out for is sizing - I had to downsize by two whole European sizes from my Scarpa Vapor size!

Customer photo review of 1500 Battery & Charger
BrentVerified
The BD-1500 Rechargeable Lithium Battery and Charger Combo Pack is a great way to take your Dual Fuel Black Diamond Headlamps and Lights to a new level of convenience. I purchased 3 sets of the above Combo Pack so that I could have backups ready to go if needed. They are quick to charge via the USB Charger and last for many hours, plus you still can use readily available Alkaline "AAA" Batteries if the Rechargeables run out of power and you are not near a USB Charging Source, something you ju...

Awesome book, I am just getting into ice climbing and I find this provides clear explanations, with extra details to those looking for more in-depth instruction. Lots of amazing photos as well.

Customer photo review of Spare These Stones: A Journey Through Southern Climbing Culture by Andrew Kornylak
NivVerified
Having lived in the South East US, I bought a copy of this book as soon as it came out. Andrew Kornylak does a great job of incorporating excellent photography with personable stories and first hand accounts. He's able to convey a unique and somewhat hidden climbing culture I was fortunate to be a part of for a while, and miss very much these days. Well worth the purchase.

Customer photo review of Hardshell DUO-Pack 300mL

Worked as it should, I treated 2 hardshell jackets, 2 hardshell pants, a tent rain fly and still have product left over. Jackets and pants have already been out ice climbing with me and repel water like new.

Katana lace has been my tried and true for over 15 years. I have them in two sizes- one for multi-pitching and a half size down for thin technical face climbing.

Customer photo review of Women's Miura VS (Past Season)
CourtneyVerified
Seriously the best climbing shoes, especially for people with really high arches. The triple Velcro straps help keep your foot locked in place, but allow you to open the shoe wide enough to get your foot in when your arches are super high! I couldn't ever wear other Velcro climbing shoes because the tongue didn't open enough to fit my foot in (high arch = taller bone in foot that got in the way). These shoes are so versatile. I have three pairs now. 2 36's (one Edge; barely stretched for break...

When I started climbing I bought nylon slings because they were cheaper. They I tried dynemma and never looked back. I thought they were all the same. But this sling is super nice to handle and a beautiful color and pattern.

Customer photo review of Phantom Tech Mountaineering Boots
JianhuiVerified
Bought it for a mountaineering object at Siguniang Mountain in China, this coming March 18, according to a local guide, temperature at that time will be like -15℃ at summit ( 5276 m altitude). Got a chance to try it out at -14 ℃ last week, a short hike to Dog Mountain and Pump Peak. This boot really did a great job on keeping my feet ( most importantly, my toes) warm. A little bit cold while resting about 30 minutes at the summit, but definitely warmer than wearing my regular snowboot o...

It's my first time ordering online from Climb-On Equipment. Great experience, easy website and transactions, great service on updating the order as it progresses to delivery. Pretty seamless and hassle free. Can't thank the staff enough. Ordered the Scarpa Drago XT. They are "comfy" as a climbing shoe can be haha. Went a size down from my street shoes, 42.5 and they are just right. They're a softer shoe (compared to my Scarpa Instinct S) which is what i wanted this time around, easy break in, v...

Customer photo review of G-Summit
LoganVerified
Good experience so far with the boots for both hiking and ice climbing for a week straight. Not too much distance on them for hiking, but no blisters or issues thus far I went 1 size up to have extra space for being warm, and so far am happy with it. A bit of extra calf work, but has not been holding me back

Customer photo review of Men's Sendero II Harness
AntoineVerified
I love this harness! I bought it for trad because the gear loops on my mammut ophir were really small and i wanted at least 5 gear loops. I tought that the fifth gear loop on the sensero looked small but in reality i can put a lot of gear on it. Also really comfy!

Customer photo review of Women's Mantra Pant S23

A good length for shorter folks around 5’4” but would definitely work for those who are taller. Love the tie at the waist to really dial in the fit. I’m normally a small or medium in women’s and the M fit comfortably.

Customer photo review of Men's Vapor V (Past Season)
EvaVerified
I've been wearing Scarpa Vapors for years for sport climbing and gym climbing. I have a fairly straight toe profile and a somewhat wide, medium-volume foot. I feel like the shoes fit really well. This time around, I got the men's shoe and really appreciate the extra width in the forefoot. I wear about a 39 in dress shoes and a 40 in the Vapor.

Customer photo review of Trion 15 Pack

Great color that goes with everything you might wear. Took some fiddling around with the adjustments to have it fit properly. It's not the usual system that most backpack have, but one you figure it out it works really well. Looking forward to try it in the field

a shoe for every foot and every style of climbing. Instincts are by far my fav shoe for bouldering, sport climbing, and multis that don't involve jamming. construction holds up. edging wears down with time, but thats expected. see photo for brand new, resoled 3x,amd resoled 5x.

Customer photo review of GigaJul Belay Device
NishilVerified
I love this belay device. Works really well with most ropes. Just needs a bit extra nudging on thick fuzzy ropes. Just choose a biner thin enough to slide into the slot for assisted mode and you'll have no problems. I use it with a Metolius auto locker.

Customer photo review of Dragonfly Micro Cam
SeanVerified
Great cams for fiddly little placements. The stem is just stiff enough that they aren't to hard to place and don't flex while retracting the lobes. The green is a hair smaller than a purple (00) C3. They complement the C3s really well being "in between" sizes with the green, red and yellow.

This is an awesome bag, have not had a chance to test it's limits in the cold yet, but i was super toasty on a zero degree night. It packs down nice and small, it is super comfortable, the zipper is good quality and does not really get snagged, and the stuff sack/storage sack is also a nice touch. 👍

Customer photo review of Women's Crux+2

Really enjoying these shoes! I haven't tried Boreals before but I think this will be the first of many pairs. I was using Scarpa Force V's for indoor bouldering for a while - not the best performing shoe IMHO but they couldn't be beat for comfort, especially with my wide, duck-like feet. I bought these Cruxes to replace my last pair of Force V's and they're so much better. They're nearly as comfortable - the toe box is really roomy but it narrows in the back and holds my heel really well. I real...

Customer photo review of Sitta Harness
PeterVerified
Excellent harness that is very versatile and packs down quite well. It only has two ice clipper slots, so coming from a harness with four, it took a bit to get used to. However, using the larger Petzl caritool evo clippers helps a lot. The divider is convenient to rack different draws and pro in designated locations. The leg loops can be a bit tight for ice climbing, especially over baggy Gore-Tex pants with baselayers underneath. This will be my go-to harness for ice climbing, mountaineering, a...

awesome! perfect size to clip to harness and rolls down to fit in chalk bag pocket when done. have also clipped it to my back waist for shorter hikes where I don't feel a hydration vest is necessary. have only been using it a month, but have two friends who have been using theirs multiple seasons and no complaints about construction

Customer photo review of Gift Card
GaryVerified
So glad ClimbOn emailed asking for a review of the gift card I purchased. What can I tell you. It's the size of a credit card, so it fits perfectly in your wallet, very convenient. I gave ClimbOn $100 and they gave me a piece of plastic worth $100. I then gave the piece of plastic to a friend as a birthday gift. My friend then used it to get $100 worth of stuff. It's definitely more complicated than cash but I think my friend found it to be a more meaningful gift, so, I would recommend this ...
