I’m just in the process of finishing the heart, and then plan to do the catalan. I don’t have a lot of spare time, but found that you can easily store your willow until ready to soak and mellow for crafting! Thank you for introducing me to this ancient craft 💕

Bought for a friend’s birthday, it was such lovely way to spend the day. Drank some bubbles, followed the very clear instruction videos, which were excellent. Should have read the instructions a week before as hadn’t realised I had to soak for three days. Managed to save the day by soaking in warm water.

I have really enjoyed making the bird feeder and bird box. I have learned so much and hope to improve with the next one. I have discovered that I need to set aside more time to try to do more in one go, as the willow dried and had to be re- soaked. Molly’s instructions are brilliantly clear and helpful. My willow ‘art’ is hanging in my garden looking gorgeous.

I loved this kit so much I’ve bought a basket making kit too! Very easy to follow videos, there was plenty of willow provided and I would 100% recommend if you fancy having a go at willow weaving. The prep of the willow needs to be done a couple of days before so don’t expect to start straight way, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

This was my first attempt at willow weaving. The instructions were clear and easy to follow but I was rather slow and awkward at the start. When I got used to how to work and bend the willow it became easier. I only had time to make one swallow before the remaining willow dried out. Next time I would only soak half the bundle and keep the other half for later.

I absolutely loved this Willow Plant Support kit and course! I set aside a whole day to do it, with plenty of breaks to review the videos for the next stage. (I’d previously watched through all the videos). It was my first attempt at willow weaving - my plant support ended up rather bottle-shaped - but Mollie’s instructions were clear and very helpful. This is the second willow plant obelisk kit that I have bought and I found it really easy compared to my first attempt. The videos are real helpful and I just really needed it as a reminder of what to do this time. Pleased with the outcome. This one is less balloon shaped than my first attempt and smaller as the willow supplied was not as long. Really enjoyed doing this.

The willow obelisk I made is a little wonky but it`s making itself very useful on the allotment. I’ve made the willow bird box but haven’t started the bird feeder yet. This was my first time I’ve tried weaving. I struggled with the first part using two strands but found weaving with one easer, I’m very happy with it but it’s turned out quite big as my hands are weak and I couldn’t get the weave tight enough. It looks lovely in the garden even if I don’t get any nesting birds in it. Is there a time limit before I need to use the willow and make the feeder?
