I love the way the system works on my DWS 716 dewalt miter saw. As you explained in an email to me the installation video has an error. Where the video says that you need the more compact system to fit a DWS model, this is in error for my DWS saw. The longer snout system fits my DWS saw. Had a kickback that shattered the dust boot into pieces. Design's spot-on, but it was printed in PETG (guessing from the gloss) or maybe PLA. I prefer glass fiber-filled filament for durability in shop abuse. Since the files were available, I reprinted it in glass fiber ABS—matte finish and color make it feel like legit shop gear. Obviously I bought this knowing what it’s supposed to do, improve dust collection. It’s been almost two weeks and I’m still getting giddy about just how well it works with each cut. I made zero clearance auxiliary fences and when pushing back through the cut, the flap catches a little bit. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the dust extractor goes goes much higher than I thought. Once I figured that out, I realized I didn’t have a torx 30 screwdriver or a bit. This attachment is an awesome upgrade to your compound miter saw. Dust is down by at least 90%. The stock dust collection is basically worthless. Top notch service too. When I got it and installed I was super impressed. Only issue I had was the rubber flap material was too soft and my vacuum would suck it up into the chute and was not working for me at all. I have a Bosch 12 in Bevel Glide miter saw. I made several cuts with stock dust collection setup after unboxing and then cleaned up the area. There was a lot of dust.
