Watching the installation video made it very easy. I had it installed in less than 30 minutes after the package arrived. As expected, there is still some large chips escape, but it seems to get all the fine dust which is the really irritating stuff both to the lungs and when it covers everything in the garage. Looking forward to a much less dusty workshop. Well worth it even with shipping to Australia.

Our woodworking club installed one on our DeWalt, and club members are very impressed with it. The design is simple yet it works extremely well compared to the OEM system that comes with the saw. The flexible rubber flap has been cut during sliding cuts, but the performance doesn't seem to be affected much if at all.

Excellent product! Installation was a breeze, just needed to shim the right side to center the blade. Only drawback is the dust bag not fitting on your adapter. Should be the same O.D. as the original adapter. I will be using a vac the majority of the time and the bag occasionally.

The dust chute works well on my Bosch miter saw. I first hooked it up to my dust collector, but it didn’t work well due to the small hose size on the dust chute. Dust collectors are good for volume, but do not have the suction power of a shop vac. Once connected to my shop vac, through a vortex dust separator, it worked great. Nice design and reasonably priced.

Works much better than the factory dust port, only downside I’ve found is cutting miters on 5 1/2” baseboard vertically the rubber flap does get caught in the blade so both corners got chewed up very quickly after many cuts. Even with them chewed up it still performs better than the factory dust port so it’s hard to complain!

Much better solution than the one that came with the saw. First, I had the collection hose straight back, but the ribs of the hose would catch when the saw was raised up and down, so I attached the collection hose off to the side of the saw. In this position I can raise the saw blade up and down with no problem and use straight and 45-degree cuts. I rarely if ever use bevel cuts.

The Shop Nation Dust Collector works infinitely better than the factory dust collector. The only thing I would like is for the rubber piece to be longer as to catch the dust that goes under it but that is trivial compared to the amount of dust that the factory collector misses. Great product.

This is one of the best aftermarket product I've ever purchased. The installation video made the 10 minute installation very easy. I got both dust collection adapters. The largest one fit my 2.5" collection hose perfectly with the use of a 2" rubber drain pipe coupling. Dust Collection is an estimated 85% improvement over the OEM ,Dust Collector.
