After watching the installation video, it went together in less than 10 minutes. I made several cuts that would have created a sawdust mess all over the wall and in the air. There was a mere sprinkling of saw dust. Certainly a huge improvement.

I not only have your dust collector on the saw connected to a Shop Vac, but I also have a collection pan under the saw connected to the stand that is hooked up to my shop dust collection system. Whatever isn’t caught at the blade, is caught in the pan and sucked away. 4 Stars!!

Vast improvement over the factory dust collection. As others have noted, it does not get 100% but the reduction is substantial when paired with the recommended Inspire Woodworking zero clearance throat plate. I am mindful of the fact that these are 3d printed parts and should be installed with care. But once properly installed, if you are focused on accurate cuts and paying attention to your tools when woodworking I believe you will get good results and long life from this upgrade. Fits great and works amazing! Greatly reduces airborne saw dust! I have a DeWalt DW715, Type 2 saw I bought many years ago that didn't have a lower saw guard, so there were no screws to reuse for the new hub mount. The mounting holes were there, but not threaded. I was able to order (Parts Warehouse) some screws, DWB-330045-23, Screw Taptite, to install the hub mount. Everything was perfect after that.

Thanks for sending me the replacement part. as you can see by the attached pictures i needed to use good old duct tape to ensure a good connection. i needed to screw on the flexible hose directly to the thread port on the molded collection attachment. i needed maximum clearance of the saw arm.

I have installed and tested the new dust collection chute. So far very pleased. I had modified the original collapsing rubber chute that came on the saw so it worked fairly well but this is a huge upgrade. The Dewalt chute exited behind the saw then a vacuum hose attached which made it stick out substantially. This exits beside the saw which saves 6-10" behind it and works much better. Dust collection improved and the saw operation improved. Very pleased to date.

New saw to me and have it calibrated yet the “factory” dust collector did not work. I had a hard time getting one of the original screws out and I had to spread the fence to allow the new dust collector to work with no interference. Yet, the fence probably was supposed to be set anyway. Works great! My shop vacuum slides right in with no adapters. Great product.

Easy peasy install. Only thing to b"ue aware of is that you'll need to move the fence halves out a bit to clear the new dust guides. That will leave about 3" "unsupported" in the middle so small off-cuts may take wing. The tradeoff is totally worth it!

Excellent addition to my Metabo HPT. I had a SN chute on my Dewalt that worked ridiculously well until I broke it while making a cut that I should’ve not tried. The piece of wood was not secured, as well as I thought, and the blade chucked the wood into the dust chute. But the good news is that I still have all my fingers and the Metabo HPT chute works as well as my Dewalt did.

I printed it in ABS with a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height. It turned out pretty good but next time I'll print it with 0.18mm layer height and I'll also use scarf joints. Overhangs are very difficult with ABS. The dust collection is really good compared to another aftermarket dust adapter I used and infinitely better than the stock dust collector.
