Love my trifold! It was easy to get the additional lace in and it feels great with 7 notebooks an a little folder to keep bits and pieces in. I added two charms and added my initials using my own gilding iron. I was concerned it might feel too bulky once I start writing in it but it's totally fine.

These are gorgeous - double ended with a chisel point which is lovely for making nice lines for headers and a point that can be used for writing or for the dots you can see in my photo. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I ordered the 3-pack Planner Kit; something I'll be repeating once a quarter. I love my antipodean friend! I went a little overboard since it was traveling so far, but I regret nothing. It’s beautifully constructed, and the layouts are welcoming and useful. I hope the Writing Friend makes a return so that I can buy a million more and write all of the novels and put all of my ideas in one place. Regular diaries just don't for me. I needed more. but wasn't sure what more was. I got a Fast Brain Friend in a kit I bought and decided to really give it a try and see if it worked for me. It did. They lay outs and the everyday changes keep me engaged, and the layout helps me to set my day out in a way that suits me, not me trying to suit the day. It is an easy no nonsense way to keep me on track and having a page a day makes it so less over whelming than a week over 2 pages. I am sold.
