I’ve now had a few weeks to test and use this ptt. I must say it has quickly become one of my go to push to talks the ergonomics has become my new standard for push to talks and have had zero issues with switching between headsets no matter the wiring type or mic impedance. Disco32 has really raised the bar with this compared to the u94 style that I shied away from. The only thing I’m waiting for that could make it better is for a hi rose version to come out.

Disco 32 is amazing as always. This is probably the 10th PTT the group has ordered. We had one PTT that went down due to a heat issue, but Disco was able to get an RMA out ASAP and we had full comms for another summer field exercise. Couldn't recommend their products more, you can't go wrong with these PTT's.

As a Lieutenant (AO, engineer, etc), in my department, pumping operations can be quite loud and you may miss an occasional transmission. We are using these flexible antennas for UHF radios while flying Hang-Gliders. Our harnesses usually have a pocket reserved for radios where part of the inside pocket liner is not stitched at the top corner. I run the flexible antenna out of the pocket liner gap and down the body of the harness on the inside of the shell fabric, it goes almost to my feet. In the pic, you can see the boom mic in my helmet and the PTT strap on my left index finger... you can't see the radio or the antenna and ...

Very happy with the quality of this PTT. I do wish they would offer something longer than the 6”, but shorter than the 20” model. I also think being able to easily disconnect your wire from the PTT to use with different radio wires or different lengths set ups would be nice, but I can see how it being hardwired probably adds reliability. Will definitely recommend this PTT to anyone that wants great quality comms

After the initial problem of the legacy PTT not wanting to work with the Yaesu VX-6, it has worked superbly — so much so I bought a 2nd one. They both have been tested with 2 separate VX-6’s and each one performed in an outstanding manner. Those PTT’s are extremely robust and obviously designed and built for pretty extreme conditions.

I bought this to use with a Baofeng DM32-UV, and also a UV-5G+. They work flawlessly. I personally used a single tiny drop of blue loctite on the external threads, as I never plan on removing this adapter.

Used it most of this weekend, both plugged into my amps and as a speaker mic. Didn't give a single care about the storm I was in, where every bit of my kit was drenched, kept working with all the water pooled on it. Audio was clear when used as a speaker while wet.
Only complaint, and this is not the speakers fault, is kenwood loves to pop out easily. I ended up taping it on for this weekend, while I'm aware of someone printing a bracket to hold it onto the radio we used (DM32)

These are genuine nexus connectors and buttons. They work very well. Don't waste your time with cheap junk. Yes, you can buy something for a fraction of this price and re-wire it yourself, but they don't work well. I used to build these kind of connectors myself in the military and they are high quality and I couldn't make them for cheaper myself. Disco is basically doing a service by making these. Thank you.

I sent in a question regarding my current set up for PTT and the staff at Disco32 was quick to respond with great information and recommendations. Ended up purchasing their Constant Able PTT with the Kenwood 2 pin connector and the audio quality with both my Howard Leights and my Peltor’s is amazing. Fantastic addition to any civilian or preparedness comms kit. Taking phone calls or Bluetooth radio comms at the range is simply luxurious. It even works with the built-in Bluetooth on my Roku Ultra. The only improvements would be: encrypting the Bluetooth connection (afaict it's unencrypted), and adding multi-device support. It can be somewhat cumbersome to play hot potato transferring the connection between devices. Whether this is an issue or not depends entirely on your intended use.
