After using other brands ptt of dubious quality and durability, this one is much better. The button has a more substantially audible and tactile click when pushed. The nato connector fits my radio perfectly. The audio quality sent/received is great. Definitely worth the price tag.

This little thing works great. My only quibble is that because I got it as a Black Friday restock/return item, there was zero instruction that came with it. A great product. It feels robust and was easy to set up. I ordered the longer cable by mistake, but it was easy to call and change my order. The shorter cable is perfect for use with my Peltor attached on my bump helmet and then to the radio on my vest (left side, same side as the connection to my Peltor).

The vest mounted antenna feels quality. I’m curious to see what range I can expect through different elevations and structures. I’m running it on a Baofeng radio but I’m eager to use this on a Kenwood soon. Other than that, it integrates well on the pc, doesn’t get snagged on slings and was very well built. Thanks again!

It works very well with Peltor Comtac V and my Boafeng kenwood-style radios. I experienced the audio volume dropping intermittently because the Kenwood jack on my Baofeng is giving out; it's no fault of Disco32's product. Yes, you can use a rubber band (or something similar) to hold the PTT plug in the radio, but I decided it was time to upgrade to a better radio with a multipin PTT connection, so I picked up an Ailunce HD2 with Disco32's compatible PTT. It did exactly what I want it to do. Works perfectly with my radio and allows me to hook my Comtac V headset into it when moving from patrol to active response. I’d recommend it all day. The only thing that I don’t like is the location of the 3.5mm port. The little flap that protects that port would sit in my throat all day because I wear blauer shirts and the mic loop is high. I trimmed it up and have had no issues since.

Ordered the CA PTT. When it showed up I plugged it into the radio and it was so quiet I couldn’t hear so I did everything I could to troubleshoot the radio, PTt, and headset on my own. Reached out to disco 32 and they walked me through so other steps but it didn’t work so they had me send it back with the radio for them to troubleshoot. Great product! It has eliminated any pulsing issues I previously experienced when running encryption and using an ear piece connected to the PTT. The only issue, and this has been a reoccurring theme, is the small screw that screws into the actual radio from the PTT component, frequently snaps. You don’t need a whole lot of pressure before it snaps. Real world operator with real world experience and I’d like to see these pieces of hardware built better. I.e. titanium perhaps. I would pay the extra amount for it. Other than that, a banging product.

Best PTT you could ever purchase. I had many obstacle with between my headsets, PTT and radio connectivity. Hi impedance, low impedance, was a really difficult issue. The Constant Able PTT fixed all connectivity issues. Highly, highly recommend. Disco 32 knows their stuff.

Absolutely great. Strong build quality. I have no doubts this will give me many years of service. As a Lieutenant (AO, engineer, etc), in my department, pumping operations can be quite loud and you may miss an occasional transmission. With the U-174 connection, I was able to create my own headset system. Huge feature. I have good pics, but can't find how to attach them.

I use this now on a daily basis. It has worked great in all environments. as a firefighter im looking for durable, ease of use, modularity and intuitive controls. The ability to hook in to a headset for different operations from standing at a pump panel to manning a entrance to a confined space, i know i will get clear commo with this system. Way better than the ones you can find on Amazon. The male side that plug into the uv5r (SMA) is slightly shorter allowing the adapter to sit flush with the top of radio. Middle part between both sides is super robust, coated in a black finish. Was worried about the old adapter breaking off on the male SMA side, zero worries with this one.

Does exactly what its supposed to. When its installed, it looks like a factory part of the radio. Cant even tell its an adapter. I have one installed on a UV-5R and another on a BF-F8HP.
