Their moto of "the best sleep you'll get in the woods" couldn't be more true. Seriously. This hammock with the true level pad is more comfortable than my own bed at home, and the guys at Haven have thought of just about everything when designing it. I highly reccomend buying the works bundle with your tent, as the ridge lights are a great addition for when you need to wake up in the middle of the night to take care of something or relieve yourself. Couldnt wait to set it all up out back. I went out the next day and laid in it and nearly fell asleep in no time without trying because it was so comfortable. The wife interrupted though! I downsized from the XL to a standard... big thanks to Derek and Haven for letting me trade it in. I wanted the XL for the leg room not realizing it was designed for larger framed people. At 150lbs 5'-8" I'd either have the pad rock hard, or sink into the middle, occasionally I could get it just right, but it was too much trial and error. As soon as the box arrived I had the stand set up in the TV room. It literally assembled itself. The Safari’s tree straps are a bit overkill, needing only a small portion of each to loop to the stand. Purchasing shorter straps in the future would be my plan. Perhaps Haven could offer straps specifically for the stand in the future, it wouldn’t take much and would eliminate tedious adjustments getting things “just right”. When I received my Haven!!! I was racing the rain which I did win!!!! But not for long I only had about 20 min when I got to my camp site I threw it up as quick as I could as I watch the videos many times went quick. I am primarily a hammock camper and love the traditional hammock. I am also a side sleeper and have no problems with a traditional hammock. I usually don't leave reviews before I've had ample time to try a product out, but I wanted to talk on Haven's customer service. Had a few issues, the Haven team responded within an hour on new years eve, and the issue was resolved within a few emails. They were very understanding and cordial It's amazing customer service like that which creates a loyal customer base, and is becoming a rare thing to find. I have had my Haven Hammock Tent now for about 3 years. In December of 2024 I had my right hip replaced and sleeping flat became very important. I went camping after the first surgery and had no issues. In December of 2025 I had my left hip replaced and last week I went camping in the Davey Crockett National Forrest with dog Luna, my little red heeler and camping buddy.
