Just took a week long canoe trip to the BWCA with my new Haven XL. What a fantastic hammock tent! I've tried regular hammock tents and couldn't get used to sleeping like a banana. Friends- simply put this is a MUST HAVE! Seriously how many videos have you watched where people are blowing up their mattress by mouth? Or the BAG!!! No Way- not me , not anymore. This pump is compact and powerful. I have the Haven XL and this Power Pump inflates it in about 20 seconds. OK so put that into perspective. I purchased the Haven Insulated Pad Cover to go with my Haven XL for 2 reasons. The first was to add some warmth as I use the Haven in late fall and early winter in Canada. The second was to cut the noise from the inflatable mattress and have a softer layer to lay on. It has performed both functions extremely well. I am happy that I purchased it as an nice upgrade to the Haven XL.

I love this thing! I use it in Southeast Alaska where we get 12 plus feet of rain a year so hammocks themselves are a no brainer. I’ve got shoulders that don’t love being swaddled though. Worked great for me at the first camp so my wife who is riding the continental divide decided to give it a try. Unfortunately she woke up to a deflated mattress. It won’t hold air and I can’t seem to find a leak. Total bummer not to mention the loss of an important nights sleep.

Just trying to get my sleep system right for the AT this year. I am 67 and the weight tradeoff for sleep is okay if it works. Air mattress keeps losing air, so I need to talk to a rep about that. When it does it comes out of its sleeve and it is a mess. It is my 4th night tonight so hopefully I can get some sleep and figure it out!

With carbon fiber spreader bars and a pair of whoopie slings..switched out stakes.. put it all in a ultralight stuff sack. I increased my carry weight from an ultralight hiking pole tent by 2.8 pounds "big whoopie sling" for the sleep I got. I inflated the pad my basement and within an hour it was completely deflated as shown. I re-inflated it , then doubled checked the ports to make sure they were closed. I love it for its convenience and comfort, however I have had some issues with the sleeping pad leaking. Haven replaced it for me with no hassles at all, but had to do it twice. 5 stars for customer support for sure, so you don't have to worry too much about it. Sleeping in it is a great experience, and the interior height and storage potential gives it quite an edge over normal hammocks. It really does feel almost like a tent. Recommended.
