My pup, Bug fractured his claw very close to the nail bed. The vet essentially clipped it is short as possible. The quick is still exposed and is tender. These booties have been a godsend!!! They are soft, yet protective. They are also the only ones we have had that actually stay on. He is able to run and play and not have a cone or a bulky bandage. Thank you!!!

These are the best! Superior quality and function. Until Rocky Mountain Paw Protection, I couldn't find anything that would work for my 100-lb Weimaraner, Baloo. He hated wearing other booties, and they came off way too easily. This offers great protection, and after a bit of a trial, Baloo doesn't mind wearing them. Thank you, RMPP! Having tried at least a dozen different dog boots over the years, I can confidently say I will never own another pair unless it comes from RMPP. My two small dogs (10lb, 18lb) lead an adventurous life hiking in the Sierrra's which can take a toll on their little paws. Also, just around town in the summertime the pavement is way too hot for bare feet. RMPP booties are the first shoes that actually, consistently stay on. No more blisters or torn paw pads! First time we went on a hike the boots worked great! The second time one of them came off but that may have been handler “error”. I think I didn’t tuck the strap in all the way. Unfortunately, they did not stay on my dog's feet longer than a couple of hours. I put them on around 5pm and by 7 all but one was on. I measured and got the correct size (they were not easy to put on) but they still didn't last. Definitely very disappointed in these since "staying on" was a supposed to be a big selling point.

The winter boots are well made, and I am sure will work well to protect my dog's BIG feet. It is going to take some practice in getting them on bc my dog is not very cooperative, unlike Ender in the video.
