So far, so good. She thinks I might as well have cut her legs off, but also she has managed to move in them okay. Trotting was better than walking. We tried them at home and at church when I had a meeting, so there was enough space to try and get her to run. Haven’t tried them in snow yet, and she gets groomed tomorrow so we will see if the fit still holds with fur cut off. I just wanted to give a shoutout to RMPP for their excellent customer service! I ordered 2 XL and 2 XXL booties for my Great Dane. I measured carefully according to the instructions but, unfortunately, my dog's feet were too long (the width was okay) and wouldn't fit entirely into the leather part of the booties. Jill and Ryan were very communicative and amazing at providing solutions to add life to our working pup’s doccasins. These boots never come off and our boy walks comfortably. He walks naturally on flexible sole instead of the usual booties in the market made to look like human shoes but fit wrong on pups. We just took a trip to Las Vegas with my daughter’s 9 year old service dog. We knew that the ground would be so hot, and the shoes that we have had for him in the past didn’t seem comfortable to him and he would pant and want them off. My dog and I love these boots! They are great for protecting paws during walks on city streets and once we figured out the right size, they did stay on in deep snow. Getting the right size is key to having them stay on. Like all dog boots, it takes a bit of practice getting them on, and once you get the hang of it, it’s simple! We live in Seattle area, and the foxtails are everywhere! Last year Maple got a foxtail between her paw pads, it migrated into her foot causing an infection. I ordered XXXL for my dobermans front paws and XXL for her rear paws. The slides on easily with the plastic guides but in a pinch I can still getvthem on without. They fit snuggly and so far havent come off. They allow mu dog to run more naturally. I have used other dog boots and she runs & walks more naturally in these and she seemed to get used to them immediately without much high stepping. We live in the hight desert in Arizona. Our walking trails are full of cactus, stickers and bitting black ants. Nearly every day I was pulling something out of Sprocket's feet. I've tried other boots but they would get full of foxtails and are clumsy for my dog to wear. We had originally purchased the All weather boots and had to go back and forth on the size. Unfortunately those wouldn't stay on our dog Molly. The owner Jill was so great in communication that I decided to buy the Lariat Cinch boots. While they fit very well and they are a great product, I'm having to adjust them often.
