So I used to be over 300 lb, I found some other exercise equipment and thenI saw the J-Flex hyperbell on a commercial online. This has stepped up my weight side of training along with my cardio and with a good diet I am right now at 290 and going down, the hyperbell at the center of it all. In the future I'll be ordering more Jayflex equipment to compliment this bar.

I am a personal trainer and run outdoor workouts. I have had a Jayflex bar of my own that I have used personally for a couple of years. I purchased four more and created a partner out last week with them. Everyone loved them! It was nice and versatile and allowed me to program bar exercises in. I am limited in that I can’t really conveniently bring full bars out. These Jayflex bars provide a nice middle ground!

I’m really happy with my purchase. It actually arrived early. Everything was really easy to install on my door frame and there was no marks or scuffs when I removed it after using it. I prefer the handles to point out instead of in. The grips tend to want to slide off when the handles are pointed inward. Overall it’s a really good product.

I use dumbbells and bench to workout 6 days a week. I can do almost every exercise with dumbbells. But let's face it, there are some exercises that work better with a barbell. I have the Bowflex 552 dumbbells. I purchased the Jayflex Hyperbell EZ curl bar. Let me tell you, it is a game changer! Perfect fit for my Bowflex 552s! The cable does the trick for home gyms that don’t need an extensive cable setup. I have it hooked to my Rogue Collegiate Half Rack at about 90” height and it provides adequate range of motion.
I’ve used it up to 90 pounds on my Trulap adjustable dumbbell and it seems secure enough.
As long as you control the rep the dumbbell only has modest movement in the air. The slight swaying does not affect the feel. If you are just blasting through the rep without control, the DB is going to rock.

After having used this cable system over the past two weeks I am still pleased. However, the screw to secure the clamp takes more time to thread than I care for. It doesn’t slide and screw on easily. It is stiff and I worry about cross threading. This just takes more time I don’t care to spend in between sets and other exercises.

The first set I got had a problem with the "limit" bolt not seating, so the bars would hang past level. I told customer service, sent photos and they expedited a replacement that was obviously beefed up in the problem area. Super satisfied!

The new replacement clamp form inserts are essential to getting a nice snug fit on that Dumbbell that you load into the clamshell!
Without it there is a lot of movement and noise that is unnecessary while doing the movement
