I've loved this coffee since I first tried it in Costa Rica. It has a full, bold flavor, but is smooth, not bitter. Britt has improved their shipping time in the US too. My most recent bags arrived 3 days after I ordered them. I've tried other Costa Rican coffees. They're all good, but this one remains my favorite.

Out of the three types I purchased this was my least favorite. However I would say that is a personal taste thing and not because of the quality. I still think it is a fine coffee, you just have to pay close attention to this description to be sure it's the right roast level for you. We picked three coffees on purpose to sample them and find our favorite which ended up being the Tres Rios Valdivia.

I've been drinking Britt coffee since my many travels to Costa Rica starting in 1992. Of the seven or more types of Britt coffee I've had over the decades, this is my favorite. It's has a rich aromatic aroma both before and after brewing. It has a strong coffee flavor that's not bitter and lingers long after drinking. If you love strong coffee I highly recommend Cafe de Naranjo.

This is the best coffee that I've ever had. usually made in a french press after hand grinding. Cafe Britt coffee is delicious and has never disappointed us. We first had Cafe Britt coffee while in Costa Rica at the Tamarindo Diria 5 years ago. It was the first time I ever drank black coffee.
