Once the bed arrived we played the puzzle game putting it all together; relatively simple. Once fully inflated after about 48 hours, it was fitted to the car (VW Touareg) which had plenty of space for the bed (size L). Easy to fit straps around head rests but not so easy to fit to any part of the floor of the boot. Just trialling on the back seat of the car. It fits well on the single seat side of the split rear seat. We are planning on reducing the thickness of the padding, as it makes the seat too small for our small cocker spaniel to lie down in comfortably.

While the item is exactly as show in pictures, and doing a great job the tether clip is small and could do with being bigger and a bit more sturdy. Also the padding on the back could do with being less as it reduces the amount of space for my dog (he is small) as i thought a medium would give him space to settle down. These are my personal suggestions with a picky dog who struggles to settle in the car at the best of times.

Lovely dog bed A couldn’t believe it came I. Such a small box!! My only gripe is that the attachment lead to go on the harness is too short to go on a harness which has the d ring I the front so I will have to mgyver something together to make it work

The bed is lovely. It took 10 weeks to arrive though. I will say , however, max was very good at responding to chaser emails. I think this would be better if it was clearly explained that there may be a significant delay in shipping as the bed is expensive.

The seat is brilliant. Comfy for my dog to cosy down in during travel. Feels safe and I love the storage pockets and the free gift was welcomed. I’ve given it four stars rather than five because I would have appreciated some assembly and fitting instructions. I figured it out on my own in the end, but as someone who appreciates them, it would have made it 5 stars.

I have been so reluctant to leave this review as I haven’t yet forgotten the stress of waiting on its delivery, even though every email I sent was responded to at great length. Isofix clips are incredibly difficult to unclip when you need to move to another seat. I couldn’t do it and my husband also found it hard to. We have had to not use them anymore. So just use the straps. Found this disappointing for how much I paid

The bed is great and isofix works well. Bed comfortable and my 40 kilo German Shepherd lasted hours in it with some stops for a long car journey. I have two gripes with it. Firstly the lead is not long enough for a very big dog in the extra large bed as the dog is tall when they stand to move and get comfortable. While it seems a pretty good quality bed, it’s really not suitable for a large dog. The isofix keeps the bed safe but the tethers for the dog are very feeble and too short. It’s good quality though would have appreciated a little leaflet on what is what. Also if this is extra large I’m disappointed. I have 2 Cockerpoos & they are slightly bigger than average but still not huge & I think it may be too small for them both. They looked a little cramped so not sure.
