I like the handling of the board. Respond-time is sometimes a bit delayed, but overall it looks great and also handels well l
I had some trouble with the charging, as the tutorial is not specific enough. The LED of the charges needs to turn green for the board to charge. So I did not realise my board was not charging and thought it was damaged.
Looking forward to the integration of the android app to test the individual drawings-function.

Excellent pen, works extremely well. I prefer it to the black pen that came with the Smart Memopad. Why not redesign the black pen to use the well-hidden charge port that the yellow ballpoint pen has? That would eliminate the use of the adhesive black dots.
So, why 4 stars and not 5? If you look at the similar real pen, the one this pen was to be a duplicate of, it has a black section at the end rather than a yellow tip the Pitata ballpoint pen has. That small detail would have moved it up ...

Yes, the Sharpie arrived in a timely manner. Yes, the Sharpie works (even without ink). But now I’m waiting another 2-3 weeks for ink- because it doesn’t come with ink. I just wanted to stress that because they didn’t. When the ink arrives I’m sure I’ll love it.

The receiver's switch broke for the third time when I turned the receiver on.
The switch didn’t move smoothly, and when I turned the receiver on, the pin used to operate the switch snapped. I didn’t use excessive force. In my opinion, there is a design flaw in that switch. The shaft of the switch is made of material that is far too thin.
Now I can only use the phone version.
What should we do?

It took a while to get here. It finally arrived last evening. I went through the tutorial today and tried it out. The gimmick performs like I hoped it would and better. The effect looks very magical! I’m really happy with it so far. I did find the gimmick’s on and off switch to feel… gummy. It doesn’t slide/click on and off smoothly. I have to work at it to get it to move. Other than that, it is almost too much fun to play with and I can’t wait to incorporate it into my show.

Instructions apparently took me to the old app to control the board; not good for the first user experience. Fully charged board is slow to receive messages. The battery charging system is absolutely horrible. Trying to correctly center the round charger in just the right spot and ensuring it doesn't move or get bumped. There has to be a better way to charge. The extremely tiny light indicator on the round charger base is crazy, can hardly see it.

It does its job, the indicator for the individual colors is more reliable and less susceptible to interference than those of the competition, some of which are significantly more expensive.
I use the device in a professional context and so far the connection between transmitter and receiver has always been reliable and stable.
However, it would be useful in the future if the transmitter, due to its battery-powered nature, would inform the user when pairing with the receiver when its charge is...

Its an amazing device but a bit wide for my preference. Whether i have a sweater or button sleeve you can tell the unit is there. As for the velcro i change mine to a elastic one as the Velcro kept getting stuck the sleeve when trying to put it on. Besides that the battery life is amazing as the amount of smoke it distributes is amazing. Cant wait for the next project

I couldn't decide whether to rate this 4 or 5 stars, it really is a great product but has a few flaws.
The tech behind it is impressive, the speed at which the time is set really surprised me, it really is as fast as in the ad videos. The Pitata app is great too, the whole "IoT" platform works flawlessly and at times it feels too easy to be true. The swipe-based input method is fast and reliable, too, in case you don't have any impression devices.

It works well for the cost but has a few drawbacks. First, the colors on the remote can be a little difficult to see. The colors are not true and needs the buzzer feature to determine the exact color. Also, the end crayons are somewhat difficult to pick up. However it does accomplish the task compared to more expensive types

Liked it a lot but missed some instructions. It's a bit hard to fit the unit (shell removed) into the papper hole. But everything gets a lot more easy to carry in a pocket once you get it solved.

The idea of the tray is really good. I used it in a routine with card magic together with the PITATA scales, and it fit the concept nicely. I did have to spend some time adjusting and fine-tuning it to make sure it showed the correct result. Once set up properly, it worked well, but it does require a bit of patience at first. Overall, a good and creative addition.
