The queen ant arrived very fast and is very healthy, She already had a nice broad and within the first day one nanitic was born. The only thing I would suggest is a little more packing filler to hold queen still during transport as my postman was quite rough posting through the door.

Fantastic product, my Messor ants moved in within a few hours. Front chambers stay dry for seeds/food and back chambers are nice and humid. Tubing connects well to the two connectors.

Just got this set up and so far so good! Will see how it goes as the Queen starts to build up her brood, but so far she and her daughter appear calm and happy. One thing to note-the dial on the bottom let’s you connect the Anthome to a nest using an Allen wrench (provided). To open the port you will need to turn it to the dual arrow, not one of the one way arrows. It took me awhile to figure this out.

Love these kits, this is my second and I can't rate them highly enough! The only thing I'd like some improvements on is the Alan key open and closing system which is hard to see and work out what is open and isn't, also will be difficult to open the 'extension' part when you have a well established colony without disturbing them. So good I bought another! Very sleek well made design. The components are made with precision and an excellent finish. Ants are very happy, I have a good view of the test tube chamber whilst the red finish keeps them unfazed by light.

My Queen arrived with my ant kit and was very well packaged in an individual wrapping. Plus provived with water in the test tube behind a cotton wool ball. Mine came with some eggs already and is still going strong after a week.

Very well made product which comes with many useful add on's. The jelly cups which come with the set are a very easy way to make sure your ants get their protein intake and seem to last a long time!

Very happy! AntKit has always been my No .1 for the UK, it wasnt expensive and the ants have eaten like kings and seem perfectly healthy, Since I gained the ants I've had several new ants hatch! Only issue is the fact the water was drained a good bit but considering the colony has been in there a good while it's natural. Very happy, thanks AntKit!

my anthome arrived quick and neatly packaged it is easy to use and the ants seem to be settled in i am currently using it for a phidole sp the queen is laying loads of eggs which is probably because i have stopped disturbing her as i can easily view them through the red acrylic side-pannle i have bought in the past and am defiantly going to buy again... thank you antkit.

Great and friendly service, thank you! Our little harvester ants are loving the mix seeds, as soon as it's popped in their foraging area, they are straight up to collect it! I’ve never had a bad word to say about anything I have received from Antkit U.K. and as usual they didn’t disappoint with the series 4 size 8 nest. I set it up and connected my small Camponotus colony of just under 30 workers, brood and queen and left them over night. Really well made this is the third nest in two months I've ordered slowly up grading from test tubes and I can't fault them. So far I'm finding my ant are putting the brood on the ledge in the nest and so far the two colony's that are useing them have been doing really well

Love it. Simple to set up and decorate. Ample space in the outworld to fit all manner of enrichment bits to give your small colony a much needed area to explore. Just got to make sure you select the right ports to keep open and you're golden. I have my ants on a drawers and every time I open the drawers they don't feel a single huge vibration! Also the test tube comes in at an angle in case of floods! The whole thing is just great 👍

There a two holes in the ytong that small ants could potentially escape from as they go past the acrylic panel. I have blocked these with blue-tack and so far my ants haven't shown any interest in trying to escape. They have explored to nest and I'm excitedly waiting for them to move in. Overall I very much like this product and will probably order more ytong products as my colonys continue to grow!

My queen Lasius niger was posted on October 20th and arrived promptly by the 48hr service. She has since lived in. Dark box in a dark drawer in my bedroom and is alive, active and well 12 days later on November 1st. No eggs yet though.
