I bought a Queen with some eggs and 4 workers. Within a few hours of arriving the Queen had settled into the habitat with the eggs which became larvae 2 days later. My son enjoys watching the ants and putting in the food and water.
He is delighted the eggs have hatched so quickly.

An awesome kit for beginner ant keepers like myself or experienced ones. Everything is well built and it looks good too! The lid is very secure and the connecting part at the end is also. It's a really nice habitat for your ants and a great place to start from in my opinion. Plastic texture smooth well defined and sturdy, for something 3D printed, delivery was very short, only issue was with the red covering for the formicarium, advertised to be translucent, was in fact opaque with no visibility into the formicarium whatsoever
